Winter

As the white snow falls,
on a silverlake,
the trees turn a shade of white.
The world is covered
with a crystaline blanket.
The ordinary world,
changes to a place of wonder,
as the snow falls,
to a glistening ground.
As the snow falls,
the world transforms
from its normal troubles,
to a carefree wonderland,
that knows no end.

Can y'all tell we're freezing in sunny California? No snow but the frost covering everything looks like a light snowfall.

We are 20 miles from town; the temps have dropped to 25 degrees for the past 4 nights.

Running late today. My wife had borrowed a cell phone from a friend and liked it so well that, well, bet you can guess?

That's right. We went to Cingular Wireless today and got her one now. I think we did okay. $39.99/month for 450 daytime minutes and 5000 night/weekend minutes for their nationwide service.

We got the same phone as the one she was using only it's newer/upgraded, so she knows how to use it.

Now I need to play with it and figure it out, haha! I've never had one of these contraptions before. I'll check out the book. It's easy, I bet.
