There's a lot of good new stuff in it!
We'll get the Mithril vest at the gate (gasp)
We'll get a relationship between Faramir and Eowyn and the houses of healing. (Awwwww)
We'll get the confrontation between Gandalf and the Witch King (purdy %&#%! cool)
We'll get Frodo and Sam in Orc gear getting sucked into that big Orc march (My poor Frodo)

I never read the appendices to LOTR until very recently (I know, I know!), and I found the whole background information on the Corsairs to be very interesting. Tolkien was a genius.

Actually, they are two different episodes... The Voice of Saruman (Book 3, Chapter 10), where Saruman's staff is broken and he is cast from the order by Gandalf, and The Black Gate Opens (Book 5, Chapter 10), where the Mouth of Sauron delivers the items taken from Frodo.
