Actually, they are two different episodes... The Voice of Saruman (Book 3, Chapter 10), where Saruman's staff is broken and he is cast from the order by Gandalf, and The Black Gate Opens (Book 5, Chapter 10), where the Mouth of Sauron delivers the items taken from Frodo.
