My favorite (not free) spyware/malware tool is Xblock.. http://www.xblock.com/ . It has a bunch of applications that others scanners don't offer. I love it. This is not an ad, just a happy user.

I would suggest that you are not getting the spyware from FR, since no one else seems to be, but rather the spyware just isn't getting removed from your system. It may be that FR is the only web page you are accessing that has the "keywords" that trigger the underlined advertising.

Using MSIE?

Yeah. Think it's time to switch to Mozilla? IE has been slow as Christmas for me lately anyway.

Have Ad Ware and run it every time I get off the internet. It's amazing how 12 or more objects can be spying on you in a few minutes! Is there anyway a person can stop from being spied on?

Yeah. Think it's time to switch to Mozilla? IE has been slow as Christmas for me lately anyway.

Netscape 7.01 (Mozilla) is my primary browser. Cookie manager, pop-up blocking, tabbed browsing, better security (I.E. no ActiveX) make it far superior to MSIE (in my opinion.)

"Off By One" is a very small download, has no "install" - so no registry changes (just unzip to a folder & run), no disk cache, cookies in a single file which can be deleted at any time. It also has no Java or plugins, which, at times, is rather nice. ;)

Mozilla/Firefox (at least) is certainly worth a look, and there's nothing wrong w. having multiple browsers on your system.

I switched to Mozilla's Firefox after seeing it mentioned here on FR.

I am having great success with it. And after being a total MS shop for the past 12 years, that means a lot.

If you can handle zip files, get this and run it. It'll make a Notepad file of everything that's running in the background. Copy and paste it here. (It's a small file, less than 60 kb's).

Here is waht you have to do:

1. Get some good spyware programs.
2. Drop AOL
3. Use Firefox
4. Move your mouse, really fast, up and down, up and down.
