Yeah. Think it's time to switch to Mozilla? IE has been slow as Christmas for me lately anyway.
Netscape 7.01 (Mozilla) is my primary browser. Cookie manager, pop-up blocking, tabbed browsing, better security (I.E. no ActiveX) make it far superior to MSIE (in my opinion.)
"Off By One" is a very small download, has no "install" - so no registry changes (just unzip to a folder & run), no disk cache, cookies in a single file which can be deleted at any time. It also has no Java or plugins, which, at times, is rather nice. ;)
Mozilla/Firefox (at least) is certainly worth a look, and there's nothing wrong w. having multiple browsers on your system.

I switched to Mozilla's Firefox after seeing it mentioned here on FR.
I am having great success with it. And after being a total MS shop for the past 12 years, that means a lot.
