Over the past couple of months, my DUmmie FUnnies PING List has grown very rapidly until it now numbers 252 Freepers. Okay, so how big is your Ping List? Maybe I'm suffering from Ping List Envy but I have to know how big the other Ping Lists are.

I guess what I am asking is where do you keep the names on your ping list, so they are easily pinged. It's called NOTEPAD. I'm sure you have that program.

People ask to be on your pinglist, and they get a notification (ping) when you post a thread of that topic.Alternatively, someone arbitrarily adds your name to his/her ping list. It happens.

I think it's a no-no to just add someone to a pinglist without them asking to be on it. My Pingees are all legit.

Yup, you're right about that. Check my post 17. I don't recall the troll's name, but it was something intended to appear patriotic. There've also been a few FReepers who've gotten into some arguments and people ended up getting pinged to threads with articles with views that they disagreed with. Don't remember who it was though (yes, I know, I have terrible memory).

The bayourod ping list has thousands and thousands of members, it seems. It seems but what is the EXACT count? I need something to strive for. I figure I should hit a thousand on my Ping List by this summer at the rate it is expanding.

Please let me know what you're NOT interested in, so I can add you to my ping list. :)

Do you know if Bill Maher's girlfriend . . . , Coco Johnsen, is on your Swedish Ping List? Johnsen is a Swedish name, isn't it? Nej. Now if it were "Kiki Johansson". . . .

a chubby, unhip looking Swedish (ok, maybe he was Norwegian but how could I tell) guy Must have been Norwegian. Couldn't have been Swedish.

It's not how big your ping list is, it's how you use it. Now I'm going to check if I was the first one...

I haven't even figured out what an Arminian is yet. Or do you mean "Armenian."Ar·min·i·an adj.
Of or relating to the theology of Jacobus Arminius and his followers, who rejected the Calvinist doctrines of predestination and election and who believed that human free will is compatible with God's sovereignty.

DANISH!
They look just like Swedes....

It's not how big your ping list is, it's how you use it. Now I'm going to check if I was the first one... No. Xenalyte was my first Pingee. I didn't originally intend to have a Ping List when I started the DUmmie FUnnies but she asked me to Ping her so I did. After that my Ping List erupted very quickly.

Wow, I have been here since June 2001, and I still haven't reached my 1,000 post (987 with this one). Maybe I should just start responding to every thread with a "BUMP" to boost my numbers.
