AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1392) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 12, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 11/12/2004 4:29:48 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Terrorists in Fallujah attempted to break out yesterday, but came under withering American fire as they had nowhere to go.

US troops have also launched an offensive into Mosul, Iraq's third largest city, after terrorists there attempted to relieve pressure on Fallujah.

Arafat has been memorialized in Cairo, and will be buried in the West Bank.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

WOW ... they have really refined the Fair Funkle rules. I haven't been able to hang out on the FReepathon threads lately like I used to so I didn't realize there was now a full rule book ... LOL!

Congratulations, Aunt DJ! How is Cameron reacting to the idea of having a new baby sister?

Granddaughter is doing fine. It's daughter-child I'm kinda worried about. They've had a bunch of really bad luck in the last couple of weeks except for the new baby. First the hot water heater broke and then the furnace. Day before yesterday some pipes broke in the upstairs bathroom ... apparently they have a real mess ... soaking wet carpet and sofa, holes in the ceiling, and other fun stuff like that ... ugh! Dealing with that and the new baby has daughter under quite a bit of stress, which isn't particularly good for her. Wish we could get back up there to help them out some but there's no way. At least s-i-l's parents and brother are right there.

Oh, other new grandbaby cut her first tooth last week, the day that her cousin was born. She's only 4 months old!

In this family, that's what we call a November-buster.

Oh, thanks for the congratulations on the carpet, although it's not really an achievement. One of the things I have noticed is that the new carpet makes everything else look worn or dirty. I will be doing a LOT of cleaning..HA!

I was babysitting today so didn't get to check the news much. It is supposed to get down to 28 tonight, so this weekend my patio plants will be tossed. I did bring in two begonias I am going to try to winter over.

I think I deserve a glass of wine. It has been a LONG day.

I don't think daughter-child is using such a benign term to describe their catastrophes ... :-)

Have you seen the final county election map? (Sorry if I'm several days late with this.)

Alaska has counties, but the state only reports a unified total, so there's no way to break it down.

Thanks... Isn't it amazing!? When you look at Oregon, it is hard to imagine the state went to sKerry. We are out voted by the liberals in the I-5 corridor between Portland and Salem.

Same, same when you look at California. It's all those nut cases on the coast that cause all the trouble!!

The 2000 map didn't show Alaska or Hawaii at all. I'm not sure why Alaska is not colored. I would imagine it would have both red and blue considering that it was a rather close outcome there. Perhaps final counts are not in?

Good evening. How ya doing? Everything is good here.

Regarding this Sunday's Titans and Bears game. Could you reassure me that the Titans will beat the bears? By three points? Please?

It's doing OK. Still swollen, but the infection is almost gone. I still have another week to go with the antibiotic and that is raising havoc with me. But I'll put up with the side effects to get the infection gone. I plan on staying home this weekend and just staying off it. Hope to be normal by Monday. Thanks for asking.
