Happy Friday!
xshub called me from Puerto Rico this AM. apparently the trip is more of a nuisance than anything else. He had nowhere to stay last night, nowhere to plug in the laptop and his cellphone is out of battery. i asked where he was calling from and he said it is probably going to cost $50 and that he would tell me later when he could...talk. I am wondering if he is in the slam down there in the PR, bc i am quite sure that if he was told at the hotel that there was some mistake, he would murder someone. His snapshot impression of the PR..... as he said to me this AM.... "come se dice $h!tho!e? he is not a happy camper....
Oooh, I can use TWO of this week's words:
Arafat, a seemingly unending nuisance to Israel for over forty years, now lies supine in his wooden coffin awaiting burial at his bombed-out shelter in Ramallah.
Morning, and thank you for the nice grade yesterday. The busy part of work right now is trying to finish all my stuff and collect money owed-the well goes dry about the end of November, and people will not pay after that even if you bring an army, catapults, ballistas and siege their castle-
Arafat the terrorist devil
Has gone to his just reward
His funeral has become a major nuisance
As his followers take his death hard
They want to snatch his coffin
And take it to the temple mount
But if they try so many will die
That even Satan will lose count
Better to just put him in the ground
Among all the weeds and trash
While Suha keeps whatever goodies she stole
Plus 22 million a year in cash
John Kerry, nuisance extraordinaire, apparently decided that the best way to start the healing process that he called for in his concession speech would be to disparage the service of AG John Ashcroft. It's good to see that he is trying to unite rather than divide. (Kerry denounces Ashcroft, says administration will be better without him)
Unlike Kerry, Ashcroft understands, as does Rudy Guiliani, that there is no acceptable "nuisance" level of terrorism. (Giuliani: What Level of Terrorism Is Just A 'Nuisance'?) That is just one of many reasons that Ashcroft was an excellent AG, and the democrats should join Terrence Jeffrey in thanking Mr. Ashcroft. (Thank you, John Ashcroft)
So Jean Querrie wanted to return to the era when terrorism was just a nuisance like gambling and prostitution. (When was that anyway?) His campaign informed us that his series of contradictory positions on almost every imaginable issue is not really hypocritical opportunistic flip-flopping, but rather is nuance. His plans for subjecting US foreign policy to a global test, presumably administered by the UN, also turned off many voters. The UN is an eccentric collection of America-hating, terrorist coddling, corrupt buffoons to whom we will never accede our sovereignty. The left just doesn't understand this country. They simply can't grasp that since an ugly ruling from the Massachussetts Supreme Court literally threatened the institution of marriage in every state, voters mobilized across the nation to keep their own state laws from being overturned by a few perverts whose idea of a compliment is "Oooh, nice anus!" With that kind of mentality, they won't return to majority status in a century. They will continue to run in ceaseless campaigns that appeal to the extreme fringes, but they won't capture the heartland. Of course, going into the debates, Jean Querrie found that soaking his face in suntanning cream resulted in a photographic disaster. The voters didn't buy it and have sent him back to the senate, where he isn't really there often enough to do too much damage. This is one of the things that makes the USA nice: November arrives, we vote, and the results are the results. There is no rioting or violent attempts to overturn the results (although some democrats were threatening it in some places). Long after the results were pretty clear, Querrie waited to concede, just in case union goons could round up enough fraudulent votes to steal the election in Ohio. But truth prevailed since unambiguous margins of victory in Florida and Ohio made a Querrie theft of the election impossible. Meanwhile, Tereza is passed out in a Holiday Inn, sauced by a few too many raisins. The more we got to know her, the more thoroughly we were convinced that she is insane; cue the men in the white coats with the straight-jackets and rubber hoses.
Politicians are naught but nuisance,
Always put in their two cents,
Their words 'dime a dozen',
But they don't mean nuthin',
'Cause they think the folks are too dense!
You always promise the cuffs, whips, and chains, but I never get to see them in use!!! ;-P
Have you seen Bill Clinton lately? He looks like death warmed over. I wonder if he considers his little heart problem a nuisance or a warning. I, myself, think there are secrets about his health and he will not be available to help Hillary in 2008, perhaps not even in 2006.
AIDS can be such a nuisance.
Huh?
What?
What's up?
Ugh.
Coffee.
(Robt mumbles a bit. Has cold, can't tell if Miss Teach used her regular bath oil, or is this some newsense she's using to get the croquettes all hot and botherd?)
G'morning Subbie.
John Kerry has been reduced for a threat to a nuisance
Tom Daschle has been downgraded from asspain to historical footnote
The warning on Ted "the swimmer" Kennedy (D-Chivas Regal) remains unchanged, if you can not avoid Fat Ted atleast wear a floatation device.
Yes I'm still gloating.
Nuisance is the nonsense that shall endure for this day!!
Good morning, ladies!
