VANITY - Hillary Will NOT Be Democratic Presidential Cnadidate in 2008!
ME | 11/8/2004 | Lurking2Long

After the trouncing that Kerry just got, I doubt that the Dems will nominate yet another Northeastern liberal senator. The handwriting is on the wall for Hillary! Your choice of geography will be your undoing!

Freeper thoughts?

They're too stupid and vain. Hillary is desperate to be the first woman president and she thinks she can win. Being its four years from now, and she's getting even uglier, she knows its 2008 or bust. Sounds like a saggy proposition to me, but a win for fertility in America. This will be a test for democrats to see if they are going rebuke their liberal roots or become more mainstream. Just don't hold your breathe on that. I don't think they will ever abandon their elitist hollywood friends, pro choice agenda, and secular slant.

The Hillbillies, the dream team. Rudy and Powell would beat them easily. Democrat Liberals against Republican Liberals. What do ya think? The final show down.

Four years ago, most wouldn't have thought the dems would field another Dukakis, but they did.

Here's a thought that could give you cold sweats:

What if she switched parties?

I look for Barak Obama bin-Ladin to be either the front runner or the VP pick in 2008.

Hillary has been extremely careful to position herself as a moderate, not a liberal. She will attempt to position herself much closer to the mainstream than Kerry ever could. She will then "pull a KKKlinton" if elected and veer sharply to the left.

Your premise assumes the Democrats are completely logical and completely rational and it completely ignores how they nominate their candidates. The Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary have influence far beyond the numbers of voters in those states. The result will likely be that Hillary will position herself to do well (top 3 in Iowa) and win in New Hampshire. That will make her the whorse to beat.

Whether or not a Senator from New York can win the presidency is another matter. I maintain a Senator from New York can become president, even a liberal one, as long as she is not viewed as being as liberal as Kerry or Dukakis. She will likely win the northeast (from DC-Maryland on to Maine), Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Hawaii, and the three left coast states. That will give her 211 electoral votes. She will do well in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Missouri. So don't think she cannot win.

I think Rudy wwould beat her handily. Their only chance, and I'm not sure if it is one, is if we nominate a radical conservative. In essence it would be too extremes battling for middle America, though I still think she loses. But dont forget, I have a feeling Dean will be back because he figures he was screwed over. Nothing surprises me when it comes to their choices though.

We shouldn't wait in revealing to the masses that Hillary is a socialist. 527's should run 'infomercials' on her occasionally all the way up to '08. Heck, let's start now! :)

I think the Dems will have to think long and hard before running a very controversial liberal figure, no matter how popular the MSM "says" Hillary is.

If Kerry was distasteful, Hillary may be even harder for the majority to swallow and they might realize that after this recent and resounding rejection of liberalism.

John Kerry, not geography, may be the death knell for ol' Hill. I'd say the Demons are going to have some serious in-fighting.

She is from Illinois and only lived in Arkansas for a while. People in the South are very biased against anyone with a eastern or maybe western accent.

Bill Richardson
He's from the West. Has insider ties with Klinton. He's of Mexican ancestry. He signed concealed carry as NM governor.

That's my prediction.
