My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Old Sarge,
I come to you as a newbie to the Lair,
Not too new to life, however, I'm fit.
I have often heard of that pot of gold
and the leprechauns guarding of it.
Are there male leprechauns
and do they stand to do it?
Cause to my way of thinking a bit,
All female 'chauns upon the gold do sit!
;-)

Now, we're seeing in our own little place,
new smiles, new laughter, and the occasional new face,
new spells to weave, new planets fly by,
new tears to dab from smiling eye,
and sharing with them, the older songs,
ringing in the mind like drums and gongs,
rustling bustles on the ballroom floor,
and the Poets' Dance goes on like before!

Ah sweet prince the dance is the need
to fire the spirit and
shake out the greed
I welcome thee to my domain
and to hold court for thee
for dancing is the game.
Under dim light of stars
or under the sun
my dancing with thee
has just begun
for thou wilt see the desert sands.
while I will hold down the court of the land.
The Lair is the play ground for sublime poetry
and merry music makes who have come recently.

See her sitting there, see her smiling?
Flashing grin all sweet and beguiling,
lithe of limb and buxom form
but, don't you wonder how she was born?
"From th' Land o' Emerald Isles, I came,
sure an' Fiona is my name,
From th' Emerald Lands, I came, says I,
from where wind o'er heath an' heather sigh,
Songs o' gladness in me heart,
t'be rendin' clouds o' sorrow apart,
"Mark ye, lads, that on which I perch,
tho' long ye be lookin, an' hard be th' search,
For nae just any crock o' gold, this be,
but Coin o' th' Realm o' Happiness for thee!"

I see her there the little muse
hitchin' a ride without a clue
which bend in the road she will pursue
Fiona's a flirt to be sure
she'll tickle your ear without a word
and whisper things you'll swear you've heard
Ah, an impish rascal she, and thank goodness
she is good company
for down by the glen where the ghosts do haunt
fear is never a thing of her wont

An arm extended for thee,
to come and to dance with me,
the muse sings sweetly tonight,
for letting our verses take flight!
New folk, Wee Folk, abound,
as the music swirls us around,
new partners join us tonight
and we fly like the proverbial kite!

Nuts, and now crashing down in ruins! A coughing kid at this hour...
And it's late, and 0600 is early, too early, so...
I gotta hit the rack.

my Prince I come
in velvets fine all pressed and scented
refined and pleated so sublime
The eve is short the magic long
while music reins across the land
Except your hand - indeed I do
thou friend of gentle kindness who
hast offered yet a bower of peace
complete with satin and linens from Niece
To: Old Sarge
Good night, sweet knight.

To: tuliptree76; Darksheare
