The parade went on without a hitch. There were 90-some-odd entries, and the karate flot was something like number 75. IT was a lot of standing on my and PE's part, and a lot of waving on elf-boy's part. He loved it.

We have pictures and will post shortly. I haven't uploaded the camera yet.

Currently, we are all worn out. Elf-boy is watching Spiderman (surprise), bittygirl is snoozing on our bed, and PE is making his award winning chili. I am sipping some pinot grigio. Ahh, It feels good to sit down!

uh-oh, bittygirl just woke up. Can't sit for very long around here.

I made a vat o chili for the Holly Fair this weekend. It was the Girl Scouts 'donation' to the effort by the school. I asked the gal in charge today if they had any left over and she said NO WAY! She took a bowl of it home Sat. night so she could have some supper without having to cook anything!

I'm glad they enjoyed it. It was quite a cold day yesterday, so chili really hit the spot!
