No one seems to be paying attention to one really, really telling thing. The Media is not reporting 4 states right now. Why are they doing that?? Well if W Bush is proved to be winner in OHIO, which he will be. By not calling the other 4 states, they can try and skew things to have those states go to KERRY. This is what I think, I also think thats why the states are not returning a 100% mark. If you noticed, NEW MEXICO pulled the 100% precint report. If they do this, we will be in a statistical draw, 269-269. THere is a Republican electoral in one state, that promised to vote against BUSH. So really pay attention to this closely. If you see funky stuff going on, say something.
I feel confident that this thing is over.
The media can try to skew things all they want. But the votes can't lie.
LOL
They are busy forging a massive number of provisional ballets, mark my work, Kerry is going to win this election.
The state declare official winners, not the press. This is over, if the Democrats want to whine let them, their just doing more damage to their party.
No, I think each network is holding off declaring enough states to be the one to declare Bush the winner. Fox and NBC declared Ohio for Bush, so they hold off declaring a NM or Iowa. The other networks have a different mix of undeclared states. Even with 99% of the vote in and Bush with a clear lead.
He threatened to vote against Bush as a protest, but unless he votes for Kerry, it still goes to the House. I think his intention was to vote for someone else as a protest and not if it altered the outcome.
LOL, welcome to FR. You're right. Kerry's gonna win. lololol
If they call those states they have to give the race to GWB. They just can't bring themselves to do that yet.
We are witnessing the death of the MSM. Eulogies are in order.
Bush wins this, I think, with 286 EVs, no doubt.
But it's clear that the GOP needs to win every state by 5% or more to avoid dem whining. :-)
New Mexico had this problem last election. They have a large number of absentee votes. That being said, I think they could call the state for NM, but the Kerry campaign has probably asked them to hold off to ease the speculation that he should concede now rather than later. He's just buying some time.
I do feel confident, I never really stressed out yesterday. I am in KOmifornia, so I couldnt do much but help re-elect Tom Micklintock to our state senate. I have been watching the media though, and they are dillusional. Look at Dan Rather. I know Bush will win, but will the media try and dig us through another 2000? I have watched this close, been to ever web site researching both sides. The dems and libs are doing the same thing that happened in 2000, only this time they are getting violent.
Someone more familiar with the law and constitution will have to comment but that renigade elector would have a tough time justifying going first against the voters of his state and then against the majority of Americans. It would seem a legal challenge could be made that he was disenfranchising millions of voters.
I LOVE THAT!!
That's what I said about Gore in 2000.
Even posted a lengthy vanity supporting my position.
I was wrong then just like you are now. :)
By not calling the other 4 states, they can try and skew things to have those states go to KERRY.
I see some funky stuff! Infused - welcome to blah blah blah - Listen up troll - In DU world the media may decide who wins by "calling" states for them, but in the real world it's the elections officials who make the decision. Kerry's lost. Crawl back under your rock.
The Bush campaign and the White House has their own election team of experts and they know that the President is gonna carry Nevada, New Mexico and Iowa. This is over.
The rogue elector is Richie Robb, mayor of South Charleston, WV. The real root of his "protest" is wanting to get back at the W.Va. Republican Party real and imagined slights, for not giving him everything he's ever wanted. At every GOP executive committee meeting, he submits stupid proposals which the other Republicans always soundly defeat. The party stupidly made him an elector, and should have known this nutcase (I've sat next to him at a GOP dinner and really do question his mental fitness) would pull a stunt like this. I don't know whether he's still planning to cast his vote for someone other than President Bush, however - I'm trying to see if there are any new developments.
As of 8 a.m. with 1483 of 1495 precincts reporting, W has a 11,620 vote lead in NM. However, there are provisional and absentee ballots yet to be counted.
