The Media thinks it has some kind of scandal related to religion, morality, and Bush's last minute trip to Ohio.
They are speaking in code.
They refuse to call the states as a threat to the White House. The WH is scared -- look at Gillespie-- he was shaking...
Jennings is trying to hijack the country.

That's not bizarre. Religion has played a big role in this election. One of the ABC reporterettes was saying, earlier, that Bush and GOP have conquered the South because of their appeal to religious/cultural traditional values.

They're flogging the "center" of the country vs "coasts" aspect of the importance of religion and morals in this election.
They admit that they don't "get" our weird obsession with religion, morality and character.
In short, the heathens are baffled by the omnipresence of God.
