We Have Not Yet Begun To Fight (Vanity)
Exile

Posted on 11/02/2004 3:02:57 PM PST by exile

My friends,

After listening to Sean Hannity regail us with the exit poll numbers, I should be livid. However, I am not. I have been overcome with a strange sense of calm. None of us know what the outcome of this election will be, but I do know a few things.

We all are fighting and praying for a W victory. If that does not happen, be reassured by this. The left fights to live, we live to fight. No matter who wins we will come back smarter, stronger, and better equipped for tomorrows battles. The left in this country is in its death throws, they just don't know it yet.

So, my friends, be of good cheer, because we have not begun to fight.

I feel remarkably calm, too. I'm confident of a Bush victory, but even if the worst happens remember the words of the prophet as quoted by Lincoln in "Abe Lincoln in Illinois" - "This, too, shall pass away."

If the worst happens we can all cheer up a bit by visualising Hillary's face.

I think Bush will win, easily, but even if he doesn't, Republicans will only continue to gain power. Bill Clinton was the best thing that ever happened to Republicans, without whom we had no hope of controlling Congress. Clinton was a moderate liberal. Imagine what true left like Kerry would do.

Not at all...the energy I feel all around me will demand justice if the unthinkable happens...the people will demand Kerry's impeachment, trial and removal.

Never mind the SC appointment process..Kerry will not get to name one.

And the Republican Party apparatus needs some overhaul...lots in some places.

my sister who is 30 and never voted was convinced by my dad
(a WW vet) to vote Bush. she did and so did her spouse here in MN.

it'll be ok.

Gloom, doom! Everyone's helping with the last hours of the Democrat campaign media effort in all of the media and all of the Republican discussion boards!

At only 6:00 EST, Bloomberg was saying that Drudge handed the Election to Kerry. Peeyoo!

It's like WWII Europe, all over again, except that it's happening here.

BROWNSHIRT! How dare you Comrade! What have I said that could even be remotely connected to Hitler's National SOCIALISTS (that's gotta be killing you. Hitler was your boy. Don't seem to remember Hitler talking about small government).

In the words of Senatrix Horseface..."BRING IT ON"

If Senanatrix P-Boy wins this, you'll live to regret it. Better brush up on your Arabic, and go try on some burqas. While you scumbags run crying to the French, I'll be fighting.

You left out "more taxes", "more terror attacks in America", less morals....and less common sense.

Buh bye, moron.

So I'm not the only one calm when before I was a nervous wreck. I can't attribute this to anything but God's intervention, or at least I can't think of anything.
