I feel remarkably calm, too. I'm confident of a Bush victory, but even if the worst happens remember the words of the prophet as quoted by Lincoln in "Abe Lincoln in Illinois" - "This, too, shall pass away."

I think Bush will win, easily, but even if he doesn't, Republicans will only continue to gain power. Bill Clinton was the best thing that ever happened to Republicans, without whom we had no hope of controlling Congress. Clinton was a moderate liberal. Imagine what true left like Kerry would do.

So I'm not the only one calm when before I was a nervous wreck. I can't attribute this to anything but God's intervention, or at least I can't think of anything.
