I cannot believe Drudge and NRO did this.
It's like calling FL an hour early.
These early polls are meaningless! The MSM knows this. That's why they leaked them. To suppress our vote.
Just VOTE!
Repubs work. Many of us vote after work. Students and unions vote during the day.
Our people have just begun to show up. The other people are done voting. THIS IS FAR FROM OVER.
VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! These polls mean nothing.
The market is currently ruled by overly emotional people that twitch constantly.
It was huge. We're now DOOOOOOMED. Do you have any idea how many undecided voters in Ohio and Florida are hanging around Free Republic?
Which one? Tradesports?
Where's it at?
Yes, I'm aware.
MSM playing games. They do it every election. This year they have combine forces and are sharing results. They even had Ragen close
Seriously, I doubt it matters. 99% of people don't pay attention to such things, and those that do are people like us, who would slay 3 dragons with a dollhouse fork in order to vote.
If anything, the fact that it pissed people off will probably help us. But basically, 0 effect.
If you don't calm down I will set my beeber to stune.
After all the dirty tricks we've seen from the MSM this year, in their flagrant promotion of the democratic candidate, these so-called conservative pundits at NRO have not woken up to reality -- reality being: question everything -- and consider the source.
As for Drudge, well, he's Drudge -- take it or leave it. He's in the headline business, nothing more.
I took The Corner off my blog list at least a month ago, and I've always taken Drudge with a large grain of salt.
Drudge gets 15M hits a day....
yah, it's already gotten 10 from me alone...
If the mental attitude of the voters weren't important then there would be no GOTV drives, with constant call backs to keep people's moods UP, or ride set ups to make sure they go. Every vote is important, and sometimes the state of mind/emotions contributes to getting it or not.
I didn't do as bad, but I started to pull out yesterday so I had less than 1/3 of my play money at risk.
13 votes.
All in Philadelphia.
A few of the dead were more motivated to vote for Kerry.
Honestly? Very few. Remember we here at FR are NOT the norm. We are political junkies. The VAST majority of people wouldn't know an exit poll if it bit them on the ass. Plus, if I hadn't already voted, it would have made me more determined to vote. Much ado about nothing if you ask me.
But the types of people that need constant reminders and encouragement to vote are the type that are looking for reasons not to vote. If they were responsible useful voters they'd know that with a horde of state and local offices and bills on the ballot they need to go anyway, and as long as they're there they might as well vote for a president. These people are sad and pathetic and a waste of time.
I may agree, but unless we can get it set in cement that the dems also don't get them out, we don't have a lot of choice. Or, rather, we can say 'waste of time' not do anything and let the dems keep the power for another 4 decades.
Both sides probably have about the same percentage of these lazy moron "supporters". And it's just as likely, maybe even more likely, that lazy Kerry "supporters" will decide to stay home on the news that their guy is winning without them as lazy Bush "supporters" staying home on the news that their guy is losing. So in the end the effect of early exit polls and worthless bums is probably a wash.
