What is going on with Free Republic?

Why can't I access some posts today? I get the message "document not found on this server".

Same here and verrrrry slow. If you reload the pages it they will often come back up.

Mines really slow to load and I keep getting error messages, too.

Wait til 11-3. They'll all be gone!

( I got one too). Likely a high server load and the cables going to the server are glowing red with all the traffic...

It took me 2 tries to reply to you. This is happening on lots of posts. I hope they can fix it. I wonder if the site is under attack. That would not surprise me.

my suspicion due to it happening on a lot of the posts.. is that FR is getting hit pretty heavy... probably by some sort of hack attack... I have been having problems getting to a lot of posts.

I get the same thing every few threads or so, but a F5 (REFRESH) fixes it. Must be lots of visitors and the servers are stressed....
