I think we're in for a real suprise. Bush will take the popular vote by at least 5% and will win 40 states.

Do you mean the total of actual legal ballots cast by legitimate voters, or do you mean the total including all the Democrat multiple voters, dead voters, illegal alien voters, and so on?

Bush 51, Kerry 46, or Bush 50, Kerry 45.

Your loopy office mate is unfortunately probably correct, considering all the votes that will be manufactured out of whole cloth by the Dems.

Hi all, frequent lurker, first time poster.

Geez, then contribute something to the forum besides an infantile vanity about the popular vote.

Nobody but a damn socialist cares about that issue, anyway.

Since you have a signup date of today, I will assume you are a disruptor.

Prove me wrong by making a positive contribution.

If I had to guess, Bush 50.3%, Kerry 49.1%, Nader 1.0%, Others 0.2%.

It's gonna be a squeeker.

Does anyone care to predict the popular vote for Tuesday?

NO.

Some people enjoy paralysis by analysis. Beats doing something useful.

I prefer to spend my time and energy doing useful things like talking to my neighbors, offering to drive people to the polls who might have trouble getting there, etc. But that's just me.

Clinton only got 49% against a weak opponent, Dole. Bush is a running a strong campaign. Kerry gets 45-46% tops. Remember that Clinton only got 43% against Bush I.
