O'Reilly Litigation unfortunately, probably accurate after reading complaint.

I don't care about that excerpt. Read the rest of the complaint.

My guess is that this complaint was delivered to the Defendant prior to it's filing for settlement negotiation. I believe Fox and O'Reilly, in their suit, alleged that they were given 'excerpts'.

You have the cutest emoticons and gifs! I am so jealous! Well, save them for yourself and use them! They are fun. I always said a picture is worth a thousand words. Here's a few pictures I wish we would see on the media! LOL!

I don't care about that excerpt. You talked about motive. It goes directly to motive for filing the suit. Besides, the timing is suspicious.
Read the rest of the complaint.
I did. They have nothing for a legal claim. Just a lot of dirt to spread whether true or not.
To: SheLion
LOL Especially the last one! I steal them all over the place and use them, too. Yours are cute!

Sorry. I didn't mean to get off topic. But I wanted you to see these pictures of FnKerry, if you haven't already.

He put his hands on you. I said in my previous post if a man touches you, that is assault and of course you have a case. In this o-reilly case, the chick talked to him over and over and over and barely said a peep, didn't tell him if he talks to her innapropriately again she's talking to Fox superiors, didn't tell him off and hang up after the first mention of sexual stuff, went out with him over and over.... would you do that with a guy who demonstrated himself to be a pervert??!!! Neither would I.
To: funeralcom
I don't like the guy, and while it may be true that he said these things to this girl, I do think she set it up to trap him for political purposes. The complaint refers to the President a couple of times, when there is no need to, and she kept seeing him, calling him, having dinner with him etc. She was recording him I think for the DNC.

Oh, bs. You and the other koolaid drinkers seize on the one article that is going to get tossed if this ever goes to court.
The three (3) phone calls wherein she is claiming he is wanking off while talking to her are secondary, I guess?
The claim on behalf of the plaintiff that he had previously indulged in said activities with other staffers at Fox doesn't matter?

I am not making a case on either side for either of them. You stated that sexual harrassment claims were bullshit and I answered your question about my claim.
I think she was a fool to keep taking his calls and there is more here than meets the eye.

Thanks for your two-sentence take on this issue. I'm glad it has its own thread, because it's so radically different from what other people have said. Opinions like this often get lost on big threads, and that's such a shame. </nuclear sarcasm>

Well with pre-emptive short-cuttings to the truth like you are engaging in, maybe O'Reilly is getting back just a bit of what he gave
David Westerfield
of San Diego, who was convicted of heinuous murder before his due process too.. By a Jury of the Inflamed by the Media, Judge O'Reilly presiding.
Trouble is there's no sure evidence Westerfield did it, and plenty of suggestion the young girl's parents or their drug and wife swapping cronies either did it or attracted the beast that did.
I guess Judge O'Reilly found the hypocritical and sexuually liberated swappers to be more *sympatico*. Hear that beat?

Well, I guess we can toss your previous post. Sheesh. I asked nothing but for you to read a passage in the complaint. Well I guess we can toss your previous post in the trash can:
"I am reserving judgement for the time being about either parties motive".
To: WildTurkey
"Westwood One and Bill O'Reilly utilize this forum to preach the principles of the so-called "compasionate conservatism" espoused by George W. Bush and the Republican Party"
This was part of their complaint? Wow.
I know there are a lot of FReepers who don't like Bill O'Reilly, but I don't understand why everyone is so quick to assume he's guilty. Personally I find the timing of the allegations suspicious, coming just a day after O'Reilly accused her of a "multimillion dollar shakedown attempt" (not sure what that's all about) and two weeks before the election.
Maybe this woman is trying to tarnish FNC's image in the eyes of the public, maybe her motive is revenge, or maybe she has some other agenda. Or he might really be guilty. Personally, I think O'Reilly is smarter than this, but you never know.
In any case, I'll wait to see how this plays out.

No. I am still reserving judgment. I think that passage you excerpted is a canard. Who cares? If you want to mire in minutiae that is certainly your prerogative. If you want to split hairs, so be it.
