Reason # 1 - Richard Gere is unkind to Gerbils.

Sexy guy paired with has-been hag. Yeah, real life looks just like that! (Unless she has the money of Teresa Heinz, you rarely see that kind of combo at Denny's.)

I wouldn't pay to see a Gere or Sarandon movie to save my life. I can't stand most of those POS's in Hollywood.
I'll pay to see a Bruce Willis movie, but not the rest of those idiots.
I at first didnt want to see Team America, but I hear it absolutely SLAMS Penn and Moore...so that may be ok.

Watch the Japanese version(subtitled).

Dancing gerbil.

Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon
Um, has-been sure comes to mind.
To: Jon Alvarez
Sarandon is the most self-absorbed, self-serving, arrogant person ever. She knows everything, especially how to raise children and keep a man. I was trapped at exercise and she was on Oprah.
To: Jon Alvarez
Basic misanthropic filth!
Even the cinephiles on IMDB are slamming it big time!

I don't go to movies much anymore. But the movie itself seems innocuous.
To: Jon Alvarez
Susan Sarandon.
I won't give ONE PENNY to support her "artistic efforts". She is a whore creating innocent children out of wedlock. Not setting any kind of civil standard for her clan.

The original, a charming Japanese movie is worth seeing. Skip this remake and see the original. You won't be sorry.

Is he dancing WITH the gerbil or BECAUSE of the gerbil?

4. The original was great and didn't need to be remade.
