A way to get rid of Oreilly is to freep fox news by e-mailing that we want O'reilly out and to replace him with someone (my suggestion is Tony Snow, e-mail him at viewerservices@FOXNews.com
That could be because they are always talking over him or harping on what sKerry is doing.
Hannity would be the best guy on Fox if only he would let guests complete their sentences. He's great in a monologue.
I canceled my cable TV and I must say, I don't miss Fox News at all. Oh, maybe eventually I'll subscribe to X-Bot or Sirius satellite radio where I can pick up Fox News on audio. But I'm in no rush.
" Was he better before?"
I believe he had novelty value, especially for those of us who grew up with network anchor-scum and 60-Minutes as the whole of it. Looking back, i don't think he ever was all that conservative. I don't remember him roasting the clintons for their crimes, although I may be wrong.
Don't watch, don't post threads about him, and if enough people turn him off, he will go away.
Most of them happen why Vester is on. They only show a highlight or two so they can get back to her show........that's my biggest objection to her show.
Move her show till later in the afternoon after Brit Hume would be great and in our time zone would be opposite Dr. Phil and Oprah.
This won't work. The only way to get rid of O'Reilly is to lower his ratings. If one can start a grassroots effort to either (A) get O'Reilly to pay attention to viewer concerns or (B) get viewers to stop watching him, that could be effective.
When/If ratings go down, then Fox will sit up and notice. Not before.
Can you imagine Coulter being nice to a dem? Her answer was what you would imagine..NO! Nice gets you out of office before your time.
My fave too and you are so right about that d@#n Whiny Juan. I also enjoy Eric Burns' show, what is the name of it.
Get rid of O'Reiley?
C'mon back to reality.
It's all entertainment and O'Reiley is a big draw.
If you want news, try your local channel, maybe even not then.
Yes, he that was his attitude the first time they were on. I was disgusted.
But the second time he had them on he really changed his tune. He was much more respectful and positive.
He almost sounded converted.
I don't know why O'Reilly thinks he has to walk a tightrope. Rush and Hannity are doing just fine for themselves.
After he lost a debate to Micheal Moore, this Freeper knew O'Blowhard jumped the shark. What's next- Chachi Arcola?
Have no respect at all for the rest of the crew which seems to have jumped the shark for gigolo johnny
The proverbial snowball in hell chance of that.
He's the highest rated cable show on TV News....maybe all of TV. Even if he slid a bit in numbers he'd still be highest or nearly so. If he CRASHED in numbers, any smart producer would give him a few years to see if he could rebuild his audience.
There are far worse than O'Reilly, but he really hacks me off lately.....not for what he says, but because he's so TIMID. He waits to see the way the wind blows before he steps out on any issue.
Even with the very obvious RatherGate story, O'Reilly was one of the last ones holding out for the party line coming out of CBS and NYT.
It like he had a spine-ectomy sometime in the last 2 years.
He's just an entertainer now, his interview about Sinclair showing the Kerry expose showed that. His big point was that they should allow equal time for Kerry, when Kerry himself has been asked to come on the program and comment. (by the way, can you imagine 60 minutes allowing Bush to rebut the National Guard story?). All fluff, now real news anymore.
I'm afraid they just agreed with BO on a new contract. I am sure that since his ratings remain high that they will stick around....
I just started watching his show over the last year. Was he better before?
I quit watching him 6-7 years ago. The answer is ''No''.
Replace him with Ann Coulter. That would be a great show.
Just stop watching the blow-hard.
