Bill O'Reilly of Fox News declares on Fox and Friends this morning that if Bush loses next debate, Bush loses election. He just didn't 'say' it but he was expremely final and somewhat obnoxious, know-it-all about it. What I mean is, he didn't say, "I am a little worried about the election if he loses this next debate..." but he came right out emphatically.
I am getting the feeling O'Reilly could care less who wins the next election as he maybe is inflected now with a completely narcissistic view of the world.
Shep Smith seemed outraged this afternoon on Studio B with Bill's remarks and promised to dog him about the comment.
most of them have core beliefs outside themselves.
For o'reilly his core beliefs seem to be "what position can benefit me the most today".
He is nothing more for a buffoon. For some people, when he was thought to be 'on their side', he was a useful buffoon. Now, he's an annoying buffoon. But the constant through it all is that he's always been a buffoon.
And no, not all the people are in for it for money and fame. Mark Belling, a milwaukee area radio host and fill-in for rush, has turned down syndication offers and requests to appear on various news shows because he just doesn't want to do it.
Bush unfortunately has to knock it out of the park because the
pundits after the debate are going to try and kill him no matter what, case in point sissy mathews.
Loses next debate by whose standard? Bills? Kerrys?
Bush told the truth and facts versus Kerrys lies in the first debate yet Bill liked Kerry.
So what does Bill want? Monica?
If Bill is basing what he is saying on some kind of well thought out thought process should he not say it? He didn't say I love that Kerry guy he'll win--he said lose Ohio and I don't see how he can win. An observation, not an opinion. If it is true (not saying it is, I'm not a pollster) then it is true and how we FEEL about it won't change it. If Bill says hey, it's raining outside, if Bush goes outdoors he'll get wet. Do we get angry at Bill for noticing that it is raining?
I'd like to see Steve Doocy host the factor one night. Or Brian Kilmeade for that matter.
I think Bush has already opened the door to let Kerry in and start a barroom brawl. Instead of shutting the door in Kerry's face, he made faces, which is what most people remember about that unmemorable event.
Yeah, I suspect the same thing. Kerry's appearance on his show seems far more important to him than ......just about anything.
He lost me as a viewer over a year ago.
Exactly. Bill is afflicted with pride, himself. You used to be able to look over it because most of what he said USED to be close to right on.
Watching him now I too have observed about how often he talks about what movie he had a cameo in or what talk show he is going to be on next, as though he is updating a fan base, some sort of fan club of people who breathlessly follow Bill about no matter where he goes - what he does.
You signed up today to lecture us?
W. must seize the opportunity to pound hanoi john.
Is that you, Bill? Name and town if you wish to opine.
Yeah - he seems so DELIGHTED to have Kerry. Dems and people who fear the hot lights of truth used to fear O'Reilly and the word has now gotten out that Bill is a fairly easy interview with the added benefit that he adds an air of legitimacy to your positions...
No, Bill stated emphatically he would lose the ELECTION, not Ohio...
Hey...if you are part of the DNC, Soros group, etc., fire away with crap like this, but Bill O'Reilly? (shaking head)
I prefer the Freeper-created "BORe".
Wish I had more to add here. I agree it looks like O'Reilly is positioning himself for his next big career move and is trying to distance himself from FOX, Dubya and many of his own past statements of belief. I wonder if years from now Bill will be remembered as the Ricky Williams of the Conservative Movement.
Ouch, look at me I'm running away. Hey din't anyone see the ?-marks?
and when did O'Reilly become a NEWSMAKER instead of commentator ?
"Now at the bill o'reilly web store, pick up your own self contained bill o'reilly shrine for just $129.99!!!
Includes a dozen photos arranged in a foldout display, scented candles, and an authentic bill o'reilly footstoll that you can use to kneel at the alter of o'reilly!!!
It's the real deal, folks - identical to the ones I use in my office and at home!!"
At the present rate of listener loss, Bill O'Reptiley, may be talking to only himself, by the next debate.
