Even as many had dreams indicating in July and August that September would be a month of storms, others have had dreams saying that October would be a month of terrorism. May we be found standing in the breach as the Lord would direct us.

September 4. 2004 5:03am.........had this dream three times...
I am standing outside, and approximately about 20 feet away from me, I see what looks like a big globe of the world.
As I begin to walk towards it, I am then lifted up far above this globe, and can now look down , and see the whole universe.
As I look far over towards the left, I see a darkening in the sky. In a blink of an eye, it strikes me that it has the resemblance of New York…the stock exchange buildings and business area. I then become aware, that as this situation is occurring, that in other parts of the world, there seem to be simultaneous attacks.
Although, I am not certain, of the exact places these attacks are also occurring, I do notice, that oil refineries, are being blown up, and I notice there seems to be those of Arabic descent as well as what appears to be Iraq, is now once again, under heavy attack, with air attacks, and ground forces, attacking just as they did in the beginning of the war…many lives are lost.
As this takes place, I look to my right, and see more destruction, and terror and death.
As I awoke, I was in tears, and kept hearing "Oct will be a significant month, Winds Of Change…Watch and Pray"

I keep having the same dreams, but they are not fit for a family forum like FR. ;-)
Not only that, it's relatively easy to influence OTHER people's dreams.
I was just alerted to this thread.
I had basically the same dream in September.
I was in the city, I was slightly NW of Times Square, walking ona side street, I felt a sudden whoosh of air and debris come up behind me, then i fell forward, at the same time everything felt electrified, the air smelled metallic, my eyes were burning and my hair smelled funny.
Felt this enormous dread and felt very overheated inside.
I got up and started running towards the NY waterway ferry even though I knew it was a good 15 blocks away.
I looked at people around me and some were running, some looked to be in pain/shock, while some looked totally unaffected.
In my brain I kept seeing numbers running thru my head, I told myself it was October and was tryingto remember if it was the 19th 20th or 21st.
Sorry, but I don't think your dream sounds like justa n average dream.
There are some features, nuances which just seem toooo specific, tooooo 'alerting;' toooooo 'knowing.'
Not sure how to put it.
But I suspect you have had some warning dreams in your life before which have proven out. True?
If so, I suspect you have learned somewhat how to discrimminate between normal dreams and solid alerts.
True. Depends on a lot of factors.
And, that does not necessarily negate a warning dream from God, in the least.
In my experience, observations, there's distinct differences however subtle. The whole dream from The Lord has a whole different character and feel to it as well as differences in the presentation of specifics. imho.
Please FREEPMAIL them to me.
I'd still like them for my archive.
Also, perhaps they could be paraphrased for the forum.

BTW, have had that sort of experience about that issue a number of times.
Is probably one reason I have such a press in my spirit to get back to Taiwan as soon as God allows and supports it.

BTW, I prayerfully FORGIVE PEOPLE The Lord alerts me to do that in prayer for--whether I know them or just see them on the street. We don't know what that Scripture about whatsoever we forgive is forgiven--we don't know the reach of that Scripture. But we do know that prayerfully doing Biblical things has powerful results. So, I do so and trust the results to God.
Sometimes, if I'm uncertain about a group of people I'm praying that way for, I'll add the caveat--according to your will, Oh, Lord.
You might ask her if there's been anything she's been afraid to report.
Assuming that by wierd dreams you mean some that have been genuinely alerting and predictive.
No sweat. I assumed as much about you and about you and I. I just wanted to note some things for other readers as a springboard off your post.

I didn'r have a dream or a vision but a feeling of something about to happen.
I feel uneasy and have a sense of iminent violence, I'm not sure what it means but I pray urgently for both this country and for President Bush.
The dreams and visions a number of believers have had of his limo being rocket are still greatly motivating my prayers for him and his family and close advisors.

Sadly, it's not always trolls.
There are some old timers on FR who are very, very, very hostile to ANYTHING supernatural and consider such a great insult and embarrassment to FR--even to the debasing of FR and diminishment of it's effectiveness etc. etc. etc. They used to call the shots on such things. Thankfully, things have become more rational in recent years.
I personally feel robust input on all kinds of fronts from all kinds of sources is far better in a complex crazy world in terms of getting useful clues about future events.

I had a dream last night that a nuclear bomb went off in the Hollywood area, one was going to go off in New York and a third in Los Angeles again. It was terrifying. However, I only dreampt this because I read this thread before going to bed. Thank God I don't have prophetic dreams! All I can say is scary, scary, scary. I was relieved when I woke up.
God speaks to us through the Bible, not DREAMS.
BTW, the Virgin of Medjugorie has been revealing "ten secrets" to the young visionaries for years now. I believe some of these "secrets" are actually forms of chastisement for the world for it's sins. Because so many believers responded to her "messages" by fasting and prayer, she said that God had reduced the severity of some of the chastisments, and I think one or two were completely revoked. So, it goes to show the power of payer and fasting (and the rosary).
What about the angel appearing to Joseph in a dream telling them to flee Herod?
Am a strong believer in prayer and fasting in earnestness on the part of those who truly Love God and seek to follow Him.
