I just receive the latest issue of Runner's World today. It's bad enough that John Edwards is on the cover - but when I opened it up to read the athletic comparisons between Bush and Kerry I had to laugh. It lists John Kerry's athletic achievements, one of them being the Boston Marathon. It mentions that he ran the Boston Marathon in the 70's - but he doesn't remember his time, and no official record exists. Par for the course...
Sorry, I couldn't find the story at the Runner's World website.
Don't twist his words!
It was the same year that Al Gore created the Internet.
He probably ran along side the gal who jumped in near the end of the race and won.
And he's been running from his record ever since.
My understanding was that he walked on the moon as well... with Baron Munchausen.
What's next? Kerry the matador?
What a liar. The interview was likely done a few months ago. If I ran just one marathon in my life, I would remember the time.
Rosy Ruiz.
This potentially could be another Christmas in Cambodia. Are the records of who completed the marathon somewhere?
He completed it after he dropped out of it.
Thank you. I couldn't remember the last name.
Clinton was the first black President, Gore invented the Internet, and Kerry ran in the Boston Marathon. No proof or facts to support these statements.
Does anybody see a pattern here!
I know that today all records (time, runner's number, etc.) are maintained by putting a chip on your running shoe. Not sure how they did it back in the day.
I wonder if Kerry had won a medal whether he would've thrown it over a fence...
On a recent interview, he also claimed that he frequently cut and cleared brush on his ranch, but that there just aren't any pictures. Uh Huh!
It lists John Kerry's athletic achievements, one of them being the Boston Marathon.
Maybe he just watched it on TV?
And then was seared, seared into his memory?
Give him a break, It was a late marathon, he was tired...
Hey, that sounds like there's a song title in there somewhere.
By golly, there is.
