If I remember correctly in the song, Leroy got into a fight with a guy over a woman and ended up "looking like a jigsaw puzzle with a couple of pieces gone."

Officers said Leroy Brown, 19, perceiving that his wife had been with another man, set fire to the pair of pants he thought she was wearing at the time of the affair. I think the "another" in that sentence is probably highly extraneous.
I suspect this guy's dog is a whole lot smarter than he is. Setting his wife's pants on fire?!?

Seriously, the only surprising thing in this story is that he was actually married to the woman, rather then it being a shack-up arrangement.
