Email from my Mom (Jeannie)...

Friends & family,

I received this from a friend whose young son has served 3 tours in Iraq. I know there are so many soldiers over there that do not have anyone here at home to hear from. I have asked a friend over there now to please send names of soldiers who need mail. It doesn’t matter what your feelings are about this war, our precious troops need our support.

Thanks to those of you who wish to send this soldier a note of encouragement. It doesn’t have to be wordy or long. Just for him to be of good faith and courage and to know that we are thinking about him.

a Marine in iraq....he is north of Fallujah. He is an Arabic linguist also, and he is the only one. he has to go out on all patrols. Could you email him? He needs positive contact from all of us safe at home.

I think 12 monthes is standard for the Army. That is the length of time my son had to spend there, but I think the time frame is different for the Marines.
If everyone on this thread sends an email though his mailbox will soon be filled up. I think it would be better if this is legit. to send a real letter, or even better a care package. I know David prefered letters to emails.

I just turned 40 fringgin 8. Played two rounds of golf with lunch in between at Orange County National in Orlando.
My boat basically blew up recently and the transmission on the wife's van is going out. I know, I'm whining. Its because of people like you that allows people like me to worry about these small bumps in life. We sometimes take it for granted that we don't have to worry about life and death on a daily basis because you have our backs man. And I really appreciate it.
