I RECIEVED AN EMAIL THAT SUGESTED KERRY'S ORIGINAL DISCHARGE MAY BE LESS THAN HONORABLE , AND WAS ALTERED DURING THE CLINTON YEARS. IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY THAT THIS IS TRUE. THAT HE DID NOT FULFILL THE REQUIRED ACTIVITIES . CAN THIS BE CONFIMED THROUGH THE FREEDOM OF IMFORMATION LAWS .

Contact CBS and have them investigate this issue. Requet they assign Mapes and Rather.
IS YOUR CAPS LOCK STUCK? MINE IS!!!!!
He shows one dated 1978 on his web site. That's odd,
because it's 4 year late, and in the Carter Admin, but
not entirely unusual. However, because he won't let us
independently see all his records, we don't know if that
discharge is authentic, or if there are others.
The discharge issue may be a dry hole. The billowing
smoke in Kerry's USNR paperwork comes from two other
sources:
1. Why are there three (3) different citations for the
Silver Star, the last dated many years later, and
completely disclaimed by the SecNAV who supposedly
authored and signed it? The Navy is reportedly still
looking into this.
2. The newly discovered available records from Kerry's
PCF unit, which the SBVFT are presently reviewing, and
which so far back the claims made in Unfit for Command.
Meanwhile, go invest in a CapsLock key :-)
All-caps is considered shouting, and is
hard to read. My eyes are ringing.
I believe his refusal to sign the form 180 has much to do with the circumstances surrounding his leaving the military.
Perhaps he was busted down in rank for his activities after he left Viet Nam and then finagled the Honorable Discharge after he became a Senator?
Wrong. Dead wrong.
Officers who leave the service received discharges with "HONORABLE" on them unless they resigned in disgrace (OTHER THAN HONORABLE) or as a result of court martial (DISHONORABLE).
OOPS caps lock....
You are correct. Everyone who separates from Active Duty (officers, warrant officers and enlisted) all get a DD214 on separate for whatever reason--retirement, discharge, resignation, etc.
The DD214 serves two principle purposes -- Characterizes your services; Provide the Veterans Administration with information about your service that determines what benefits, if any, you are entitled too.
The key to determining the exact reason for issuance of the DD214 is a 3 digit alpha-numeric separation program number (SPN) code.
For instance: SPN 238 - Service retirement in lieu of other administrative action

SORRY ABOUT ALL CAPS , I'M NOT A TYPIST , NOR A GOOD STUDENT OF ENGLISH GRAMMER . JUST A SOUTHERN RED NECK REPUBLICAN . I WAS USAF PILOT , SHORT TIME ,55 TO 58 INACTIVE RESERVE TILL LATE 68 , DISCHARGED CAPT , HONORABLE , SO I KNOW YOU GET A DISCHARGE AND DD 214 . WISH I KNEW HOW TO GET CBS TO INVESTIGATE THIS AND PUT IT ON 60 MINNETS .
Sorry to ask, but we have lots of trolls lately.
What was your unit?

The Chicago Sun-Times, hardly a bastion of conservative thought, is peeling the layers of Kerry's onion. And what they're finding ain't pretty. According to the Naval Personnel Office, there are 94 pages of Kerry's records unreleased, pending Kerry's sign-off on a Form 180. The Sun-Time opines that many of the pages relate to Kerry's honorable discharge, which was delayed six years after the date listed on his web site. What delayed Kerry's discharge? The answer could be extremely damaging, if this report is accurate...
94 pages of records unreleased?
...
Kerry, who should have been discharged from the Navy about the same time -- July 1, 1972 -- wasn't given the discharge he has on his campaign Web site until July 13, 1978. What delayed the discharge for six years? This raises serious questions about Kerry's performance while in the reserves that are far more potentially damaging than those raised against Bush.
