You didn't warn them about me yet, did you?

To: Letitring; All

I am so proud of our country today.

That statement may rub some people wrong, but I will say it anyway.

I feel like we have our country back. The people have spoken.

We are a moral country and we showed that by voting against the same sex marriage act. We are a people that care about our children and how they act, what they wear, and want them to be raised in a polite society, and hopefully behave well.

We also showed the Euros that we don't care what they think of us or how they feel about how we like to live. We have shown that most of our country has values, and if you, the UN, Europe, or anyone else doesn't like it, then you can shove it.

You don't have to be a religious fanatic to have morals. You just have to know right from wrong. You have to have some sort of good conscience, and use it to decide what is right and what is wrong.

I may be entirely off the wall here, but I feel good about our country again today, and it's a damned good feeling.

I hope the MSM, the Democrats, the Micheal Moores and Tom Daschles, and some of our Judges take the hint.

I want our country back, and I think we may have started to make some headway.

Bush just got a mandate, so I hope to hell he uses it in the best way to do something to help this country be what it used to be.

I'm an old Patriot, and proud of it. I hope I don't sound too foolish or out of line here, but just felt this rant and had to quench my thirst.

Best of luck to all of us, and especially the good old USA.

So there..............

Sometimes, warnings are unnecessary. Besides, the mere thought of nully's basement keeps most folks alert for dangerous situations.

True, true, and since I axed the torture rack there isn't any terror of me left anymore.
*sigh*
I shall have to find new ways to motivate the minions and the prospective interns.

We worked the Polls yesterday...of the repubs on our lists for our precint, when we called to inform them the polls were open until 8 most had just got back from voting. I only had one on my list hang up on me...said nothing just clicked off.

At our polling place, people were not lined up around the building but the pace was steady all day and picked up at 6 pm when folks finished dinner and then came and cast the ballots.

A friend went out for the afternoon and when she returned at sundown had at least 9 calls urging her to vote Republican.

I have gotten 1 call from Laura Bush, 2 calls from Liz Edwards and at least 10 from ACT. Money well spent.. NOT!

You could share the workload. You take the minions and give Swervie the interns.

"Sweet! Must be a lot of good food around the neighborhood!"

I use to have a moderate purse to go with it!

Some day when I win my insurance claim I will be functioning again!

but therein lies a problem, sometimes teh interns are also minins and vice versa.
Gets confusing at times.
Wouldn't want to send Swervy some truly insane intern who turns out to be an escaped minion afterwards.

I had the same dream in 1984... my first election. I have concluded that they dont take hints, they must be beaten (by ballots of course!)

Nice going, cg. You'll appreciate the fact that other Bush poll workers here included a young disabled veteran and his father-in-law. They stayed all day and were really determined to see a Bush victory.

Another thing that I noticed was that those who had a flag sticker or a "Support Our Troops" ribbon on their cars invariably indicated that they supported the President. The only true sourpuss I noticed had a "When Clinton Lied, No One Died" bumper sticker. Oh well, I suppose that it takes losers to make winners.

LOL. Or it could be taking them a LONG time to put him back together. :) Making HIM presentable for the cameras would be a job of nightmare porportions. lol.

It's fun watching them melt down.

Best of ALL is getting Daschel OUT of office. Everytime I think of it, I get all giddy. :)

Hugs Gran. You sound wonderful, in fact. :) We should have four great years. I can't wait to hear and see what President Bush intends to do with what we've given him. :)

I want my Country back too. I'm hoping, with these wins, the Democrats will get back to reality, realize we are NOT a Nation divided and are heartily SICK of their vision for America.

We should be SO lucky if Michael Moore moves to Europe.

Good point. He already has a number of those in his collection. Perhaps a nice new set of bondage gear ...
