Love that longhaired calico one! So adorable.
I saw that guy... here in Ohio a federal judge allowed "provisional balloting" I.E. you can vote in any precinct in the county... chances of getting caught are less than zero.
In the last few days he wrote a letter to the NFL commissioner asking him to let Jake Plummer (Broncos QB) to be able to wear the number of Pat Tillman on his helmet during games. I guess the NFL relented on fining Plummer and they are allowing stadiums to post Tillman's number prominently on the scoreboards. They are allowing Plummer to make ads honoring his old friend.
There are many that have been uprooted!
I was thinking of my hometown and how they have redesigned all of the community stores I feel as though my whole childhood was erased!
So instead of bieng called East Detroit it is called EastPointed to go along with the Hoyty Toyty as in Grosse Pointe
Be careful though. Next thing you know, Val will have you tramping around with her collection of boy toys.

Everyone needs to read that..........it's pretty good. E-mail it to any thoughtful Democrat or moderate you might know.
Not good at linking. Go to HughHewitt.com. It's his first link (or was a while ago).
I gotta disagree with you on that one, Loddy. I think most DO choose it and they use the "God made me this way" talking point to make themselves feel better about their perversion. That's not to say that perhaps a small percentage aren't born with a predisposition to being queer, kinda like alcoholics have a biochemical make-up that makes them process alcohol differently, but just like being an alcoholic doesn't justify being a drunk, neither does having a predispostion towards homosexuality make it okay to act on it. I simply do not believe that God creates people to commit what He calls an abomination.
Oops. It's now his first link on the next list of postings.
Good point!
It'll be in place of the rant you owe me.
Just scrolling trough my pings when I got home from work looks like the trolls have been out in force. It's gonna get worse, ya know.
Yeah, that is so true - it's really the so-called city planners who played such a large role too. And, the malls which started a long time ago... Growing up in a city where there were no malls or big box stores, prices were reasonable and the produce/meat/seafood fresh, everyone knew each other by name and could walk places, people took care of their elderly neighbors, and so on, my opinion is that box-less neighborhoods function pretty well. Whenever I lived in small towns, I made sure they were box-less. If people want to work and shop there like obviously millions do, that is great for them, but I personally don't.
I remember Kresge and Woolworth's. We had Grant's, too.
