I am one of the fortunate ones that lives in a market (Cincinnati) that will show the Sinclair Broadcasting documentary of JFK's real story.

Resty, some quaint little towns might have been destroyed by Wal Mart, but mine is not. Wal Mart built their store in a field that used to be a dairy farm. Soon, other stores were cropping up around them ie a dry cleaners, donut shop and dollar store.
Some downtown merchants, who had been price gouging for years because THEY were the only place to shop, did go out of business. The ones who did not, offered services that Wal Mart could not provide, like delivery and personal services.
And my downtown is gearing up to be the cultural, musical, historical and antique suppliers of the area.
Ain't business competition great?

Kerry kept dropping his good friend John McCain's name, too. I haven't heard any correction by McCain today. McCain was riding on Airforce 1 today. He went back and chatted with the press, which is unusual, but the press mostly has ignored it. He made clear Bush is the man.

Resty, people in small towns talk to each other anywhere they happen to meet. We do not need a quaint small town square to converse with each other, really. We actually talk while shopping. LOL
On my local radio talk show today, there was an ad that said "while I was talking to my friend in Wal Mart, I told her about a new subdivision that was so nice".

This is getting scary!!!No kidding. I'm hearing more and more each day that is making me ill regarding the ballots. Today some disgruntled worker came out to claim Dem voter registrations were shredded in front of him. Turns out he only said that after he got fired. He looked like the typical hippie...
