Resty, people in small towns talk to each other anywhere they happen to meet. We do not need a quaint small town square to converse with each other, really. We actually talk while shopping. LOL

On my local radio talk show today, there was an ad that said "while I was talking to my friend in Wal Mart, I told her about a new subdivision that was so nice".

There are many that have been uprooted!

I was thinking of my hometown and how they have redesigned all of the community stores I feel as though my whole childhood was erased!

So instead of bieng called East Detroit it is called EastPointed to go along with the Hoyty Toyty as in Grosse Pointe

"We actually talk while shopping."

Yep, and here, everybody goes to Walmart. It is like redneck mecca or something. I pretty much never go in there without seeing someone I know, which is kinda interesting because I've only lived here for 4 months. But I have dealings with a LOT of people. Note to self: get T-shirt that says: "Do I look like a people person?"
