Kerry kept dropping his good friend John McCain's name, too. I haven't heard any correction by McCain today.

McCain was riding on Airforce 1 today. He went back and chatted with the press, which is unusual, but the press mostly has ignored it. He made clear Bush is the man.

As much as I struggle to like McCain, every once in a while he does something right.

In the last few days he wrote a letter to the NFL commissioner asking him to let Jake Plummer (Broncos QB) to be able to wear the number of Pat Tillman on his helmet during games. I guess the NFL relented on fining Plummer and they are allowing stadiums to post Tillman's number prominently on the scoreboards. They are allowing Plummer to make ads honoring his old friend.
