Oh my gosh, that is SO beautiful. Your photos are stunning. I am pretty sure I've visited every single mission in Baja, but I'd have to dig my photos out. I like the Jesuit missions the best.

OK - sounds great, see you later - and I will get some pictures together too. Too bad it's so late, or I could cheat with you on Conservababe since she disappeared :)

Thank you - you too! See you tomorrow. (If I haven't been whomped back in my place by C.)
Sweet Dreams West
This is Jefferson Meadows, with Owl's Head, and Cherry Mnt in the background. A view from Al's home where he was born. I have tales to tell of my hike up Cherry Mnt and the fire rangers tower from when I was young, but I can't tell of it.. ;)BBL
Westy...you devil you..
Of course you can take your scooter on a cruise. Get him Babe..
Smoooooooooooooooch...
I have tales too, I think. If only I could remember them ...
Your picture is a great one. Nice going, gran!
Smooch to you too, gran. You dazzler you.
Darlin', I looked at some storm damage yesterday, caused mostly by wind. One place I saw, however, was on a flat stretch of beach with no dunes to protect the condos. The water and sand swept right through them, leaving the building intact but with a mess that will take a long time to clean up.
She had to make a visit but it made her sick.
It is sad, gran, that a lovely place like Sanibel had so much damage. I think that here we were protected to a great extent by the elevation above the Gulf, the highest point on the Gulf shore being just a few miles west. Much of the damage nearby was from what appear to have been small tornadoes, formed on the east side of the storm's center.
But we and Sanibel will recover, the earth having a miraculous way of healing itself, especially when aided by people dedicated to making it happen.
Yes Pup I agree. She also told me that Cape Coral had a 100mph tornado the day before yesterday. It wasn't too far from our home.
Maybe I should wait until the end of Nov to go down this year..? The END of hurricane season.
I may give it some thought...:(
