bush has given the world "the american plan" to deal with terrorist
Posted on 09/17/2004 10:23:59 AM PDT by next view
bush's war in iraq and elsewhere in the world tells the world that the united states will use the "send them all to hell-let god sort them out" attitude towards terrorist. with iraq, bush can think, oops! maybe sadamm wasn't that much of a terrorist; but what the hell, better safe than sorry. the american reponse to threats has been one of using military muscle. it is almost a reflex reponse. this is why i think most americans will stand by bush in the reelection. bush is doing, acting, and responding to the world terrorists with an american style. as if dirty harry were president or the character john wayne played in the movie the longest day was the president or the character played by harrison ford in the movie witness, especially the scene where harrison ford's character punched a punk in the nose! bush's reponse to the terrorist shows the world that the united states will take action and that the blood of thousands of american troops shall bleed blazing red to give a clear biological warning sign of DANGER to all of the earth.

    LOL!
My mom, born in the 50's, loves to poke fun about today's youth and their point of view about what tech was when.
I was actually asked what Pentium computers we had when I was little.
I tried explaining TRS-80's and Commodore VIC-20 but got blank looks.

Could they have invented anything harder to change songs with? And anymore than 4 or 5, you had to put them in the trunk.

Don't forget the taunting shuffling victory dance for a few seconds before running like all get-out as the person yelling 'get off my lawn' comes charging from the porch.
Gotta do that..

    What's a wire recorder?

Why does that remind me of "What's a chickenway?" "Oh about 8 or 9 pounds"

    Ugh, yes.
That format was horrific.
When cassette tapes appeared, my father scratched his head and went, "Isn't that kinda FLIMSY?"

You know... if you Trolls really try to be clever, you might realize that the obvious tactic to fool us would be to post something which:
  - is actually in line with facts and conservative philosophy

 - written well, while making sure to mind all rules of grammar, spelling, and punctuation

 - contains your point or poison in a much more subtle manner.

However, I doubt you have sufficient active neurons to pull off the job.
 Too bad, so sad.
Would you like to be fried with that?

I had a typewriter from sometime before 1970.
It got lost in one of the shuffles during moving.
 :(
Was a sweet machine too, didn't break down, didn't need maintenance like the 1980 electric one I have sitting nearby, and didn't need updates to keep it from being hacked.
