They call it spamming.
Well if I didn't post the way I do the dims and media wouldn't notice.
Just ask yourself why did FOX finally run the Steve Pitkin story today?
Why did Rush mention that Edwards never served when he could have last week?

Had friends over watching the Lions Game Sunday when I got the call to turn on C-Span...Long story short the house went from cheers to tears with a few guys sharing how they made the mistake of departing a plane in uniform. "Winter Soldier" in Detroit caused great emotional harm.

Thanks for your service (then and now) and post away. Some things need to be repeated over and over and over with the hope those who didn't live it will follow the links and understand this forum is read by people who might not otherwise know the real John Kerry.

Oblongata, as an old-timer around here, I have indeed noticed a certain kind of posting that I would call "spamming". To me, such posts are typically malicious attempts to drown out the conversation on threads that are offensive to a certain poster’s ideology. Obviously, Tonk's intent is quite different, he wishes to bring passers-by up to speed on the subject at hand and thus I would not call his posts "spamming".

I do however have a very hard time loading up webpages with lots of pictures or graphics which have not been reduced in size. That is my own problem because (sadly) I'm still on a dial up connection. When the threads I want to see are heavily loaded, I resort to mashing the Stop button and just make-do with whatever appeared before I ran out of patience. LOL! Fortunately, most posters around here are very considerate and on the high volume breaking-news threads will go out of their way to avoid high bandwith pictures and graphics.

But I digress...

Personally, I'm all for Tonk's continuing to post the information newcomers and passers-by need to get up to speed --- especially now since FreeRepublic.com is being mentioned in the main stream media. This is a great opportunity to answer Lurkers questions before they even ask.

Tonkin, take it from me: Some people here are just cranky and they mouth off 'cos it makes them feel powerful! I, for one, appreciate your passion for the Right and your passion for the truth! I just this morning read the thread started by Stockpirate in which you had some info about Pitkin and was really floored. I hope the truth comes out, but with the MsM practically campaigning for John Kerry, I doubt the truth has a chance, except perhaps on FOX NEWS and definitely on FreeRepublic.

And whoever got after you about "spamming"--- forget about him... I've seen him complain about that in the past with other posters, and he obviously doesn't even know what spam IS. Carry on!
