Well it seemds like some FReepers want me to shut up and NOT post on threads.
They call it spamming.
Well if I didn't post the way I do the dims and media wouldn't notice.
Just ask yourself why did FOX finally run the Steve Pitkin story today?
Why did Rush mention that Edwards never served when he could have last week?
And do me a favor, come directly to me, not the Admin Moderator if you have a complaint.
So I'll shut up and toe the line.
I'd hate to upset certain FReepers.
Does my #143 sort of sum it up?
This forum is designed for vanity comments relative to the news items....
Just keep doin' what ya gotta do.
As my old man (CMSgt,USAF,Ret) used to tell me "If ya ain't pi$$in' someone off once in a while....ya ain't doin' something right."
Personally I've learned quite a bit from your posts, and I hope you will continue to contribute.
Regards

Take a look at the thread.
It was about Kerry.
Tonk posted the truth about Kerry.
It relates PARTICULARLY to the thread.
As you request.
It is topical.
You don't like that?
I do.
So does everyone else that is Pro America and Anti-Kerry... the supreme traitor to the USA.
They're reading us -- and anyone who doesn't think they may not be "getting it" yet didn't listen to O'Reilly's opening tirade tonight. Regarding the Rather document fraud, O'Reilly is still saying "IF the documents prove to be fake." Give me a break!
The experts on this Forum had 'em pegged within hours of Rather's report.
Rather's first response to the charges was straight from the former impeached president's playbook: "I've SEEN no evidence that the documents are false." (IOW, he's refused to LOOK at any evidence.)
Forgive the cliché, but this election it isn't just a straw that broke the camel's back. The MSM continues to mix those straws in with their donkey manure and then they expect us to smile and remain silent, or tell them things still smell sweet. Enough is enough -- finally!
As a fellow "Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club" member (1968-1971), I say keep 'em coming. Don't lose any steam matey, and for God's sake don't lose any sleep over this.
God Bless you Jim!! We all love you!!!
How brave of you to post that to someone else, and not to Tonk.
You keep on posting, I appreciate and respect you!
Post away, shipmate!
Well I always wanted one of those!
And you have my sincere acceptance. ;}
So that's the post, eh?
Personally, I was going to send Tonkin a post telling him to post it often but never got around to it. Shows that you can't please everyone.
I liked seeing it everywhere. I don't think you can get enough anti-Kerry info, especially from a Nam Vet.
But I'm just a widow of a Nam vet whose life after the war, such as it was, was made miserable by Kerry and his ilk, so what do I know?
Isn't that the truth.
Joke'em.
Keep posting Tonk. I can't imagine getting one's panties in a wad over a thing like bandwidth. Now getting shot at and sh*t on for 30 years, that's something to talk about. The country is behind our vets, and I'm glad the truths are coming out. God Bless ya'all.
Quit yer whining. Geez.
Love ya PING to Tonk! Keep me on your list.:)
We know from many years experience on here as well as certain customs and sensibilities that multiple postings of the same thing on several threads is not at all considered kosher.
Occasionally I risk it when I think the threads are interested in the topic and just to connect to the thread with the main post.
But I know it's a risk when I do it and try to do it very inoffensively. Usually, it's OK. Not that many are interested in many of my topics and I try and limit them to threads with folks of similar interests.
Sounds like you crossed some lines on that score and got your hands slapped. Somewhat predictable. Screaming about needing to spread your perspective far and wide to alert the regular media will probably not get you much sympathy or support. The regular media are mostly idiots and are not that moved by multiple posts on FR. When FR's great work gets spread far and wide in the bloggosphere--then we have more impact.
imho, of course
