It weathered the storm at St.Petersburg Airport. I will be picking up a new one tomorrow.
I quit teaching in 1980-1 and have been living high on the hog since then.

That sure seems like you if you say teacher. My power went out for a few days in Broward County Florida. We had to use the BBQ grill which I had made sure had the propane filled. (Stoves are elcetric in Florida for the most part) I don't know if is was better or worse where you are.

The old people really took a hit here in Florida. They can't take the stress and quite a few in my building have been evacuated to health care centers or their families have taken them back North.
Florida has a challenge- reality and acceptance of reality- which cost a few bucks and can be done if people quit thinking they can get a free lunch.
