I feel as though they should ban smoking in all night clubs, so that people can go and enjoy themselves without having to smell like smoke after walking out of the night club or having the fear of second hand smoke later in life. Even if they do sell alcohol, set aside a place outside for the smokers to smoke. Over half of the club do not smoke, if you were to do apoll on the people that were in the club and put all non-smokers to one side and the smokers to another side, you would have a great deal of non-smokers on one side and a handfull on the other side. But witht hat handfull of smokers, it still makes the area of the club which is closed in fullo of smoke that we have to breathe. So don't just pass a law for the bars, and resturants, pass it for all places. We need to get on the ball liek California, you can't smoke there and it has not hurt their businesses. Something to think about

Oh sure. Make the smokers go outside. That's what MAINE did! And everyone wonders why business is down in the winters??

The big smoke eaters on the ceilings is all a business needs. Trust me.

I hate coleslaw. That's crazytalk ;) Coleslaw's good on it's own and becomes nearly perfect when eaten with it's natural food complement, barbecue.

(Oh hell, you're gonna turn this into a BBQ thread!)I'm quite the 'cue lover, but never had a taste for slaw with it.
Besides, truly GOOD barbecue doesn't have to have its taste disguised by slaw.

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. One of my favorite local restaurants, a seafood place, is an awesome place to eat but the coleslaw, which is served with every plate, is bad. Soggy and too much mustard or something.
Then I had KFC last night, and I'm always surprised to find that I like their coleslaw, more than most restaurants I've eaten at.
I guess the best way would be to make it from scratch though.

...my preference being the sweet/milky variety. It's generally mine as well, but I've had some of the vinegary stuff that's been halfway decent. A lot depends on what I'm eating it with.
Thanks for the advice on starting threads, too!

Your spelling and punctuation fit the profile of a first grader. What are you doing in a bar at such a young age?

Why yes I do -- Buddy's Barbecue. It's a chain of locally-owned BBQ restaurants in eastern TN which seems to serve consistently good coleslaw. Ah yes! Buddy's!!!

Well, I guess good folks can agree to disagree, even on important stuff like coleslaw and BBQ ;)

Like I said, this has all been hashed out before -- no need to go through it again...
Sorry, your hash out doesn't apply to me. But thanks.

But I wouldn't post a freakin' breaking news item about it.

It's generally mine as well, but I've had some of the vinegary stuff that's been halfway decent.I like both to be honest, and plain kraut too (must be my German ancestry).
