Okay, since I'm now actively participating in FR and not just lurking, I should probably put together a slightly more comprehensive profile. This will be a work in progress, so check back from time to time to see what I've added!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comFirst off: No, I am not a gay-rights activist. "Homo homini lupus" is Latin for "Man is a wolf to man." You'd be amazed how many people get the wrong idea...
That phrase holds a certain irony in it as I tend to view the wolf not as a demon or feral killer, but as a pack animal with a social structure that many humans could stand to learn from. I am not a totem-worshipper or animist, nor do I believe that wolves have human-like intelligence or souls. I simply see them as one of G-d's creatures that have many habits in common with man, both good and bad.

Politically, I am a Conservative. Not a Republican. Don't get me wrong, on the whole I think they're a great bunch of people, and I normally agree with them; I just believe in voting by my morals and not by my party affiliation.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comReligiously, I am Messianic. That means I'm Christian, but worship in a Jewish manner. The gentile believers are grafted in to Israel per Romans 11:17-21. They did not replace the Jewish people, nor do they have an entirely different destiny. I am pre-Mil and pre-Wrath because those are what the Bible teach. I believe that G-d is One (Adonai echad) and that Yeshua ha'Mashiach (Jesus the Christ) is G-d. I believe G-d, angels, ha'Satan and demons are all very active in the modern world. They can and do have a direct impact upon people and peoples.
I am currently serving as a youth leader at my congregation. I work with teens and pre-teens day-in, day-out and see the results of our educational system first-hand. I also work with several teens who are home-schooled and, while I believe home-schooling to be good, see evidence of certain pitfalls that the parents of home-schooled children fall into. I also get to see first-hand the evidence of child abuse, which is rampant in our nation today. Please do not try to tell me that it isn't.

I will respect your beliefs as long as you respect mine. I have no problem with anyone questioning my opinions, or contradicting them, or debating them. I appreciate anyone who wants to ask questions in order to learn more or to just understand me better.

I like sarcasm, and have been told that my sense of humor is as dry as the Sahara. Even my best friend has trouble telling when I'm joking sometimes. I am aware of this and am working diligently to increase this effect.

This brief description barely begins to scratch the surface of "me" and who I am. If you want to know more about me, then ask me questions or engage me in a conversation! Also, read the stuff below.
