The Hobbit Hole XV - Pass them by! Pass them by!
See our freeper.the-hobbit-hole.net home page! ^

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Pass them by! Pass them by!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Sorry 'bout that. Engagedbrother called and wanted to talk about a bunch of stuff related to the wedding and transportation and music and stuff, most of which I was just saying "this isn't something *you* need to worry about now - you've got your own stuff to worry about" and "I don't know - you need to discuss that with your fiance, doncha think?"

But he's gonna call brothers now.

*yawn* Almost time for bed, if'n I'm gonna get up early and walk! It's going to be chilly...but that'll wake me up, I guess.

We saw The Bourne Supremacy tonight. I didn't realize that Karl Urban was in it! He played an evil Russian assassin! I didn't recognize him at first because he had short dark hair and was so thin. I guess not wearing all that armor will slim you down. ;o) I recognized him becasue of his eyes!

I had trouble recognizing him as well, when I saw that movie. What gave it away to me was his narrow mouth.

That wimp Shinji is a good way to put it. I liked Kaji, too bad it looks like he's dead. People always told me I'd find Eva offensive (anti-Christian) but there's nothing in the first twenty episodes to show that.

Man... we only got three episodes of Escaflowne in tonight. Oh well. The girls still love it. They figured out that Prince Chid was Allen's son, not that there's any real feat. I really love that show. Van-sama has nice wings, for one thing.

Okay, I renewed my NaNoWriMo account, Rose_in_RoseBear.

As soon as I figure out what I want to write, I'm good to go!

Did you know that Celeborn was also in it? I saw the name Martin Csokas in the credits and realized he had played in LoTR, but couldn't remember which part. I googled the name and realized it was Celeborn!! Now I'll have to watch Supremacy again to find out which character he played.

I'm enjoying the pictures of Cyn. She's a lovely horse! Hope they all three can get along well.

Now that you mention it, I think he was one of the Russians that Bourne dealt with near the end of the movie, after he got to Russia.

Hmm, looking at IMDB, I see that Marton Csokas also played the main bad guy in the Vin Diesel movie XXX.
