That is great news, we are glad to hear it. Changes to a diet like that do require a bit of planning and substitution but so much better than the alternative(s).
Few years agow we had the dead man's lever on the electric lawnmower go south, took it apart and then used it the rest of the summer by unplugging it to shut the motor down. Glad the yard isn't a big one.

Rosabelle laid her first egg today! Steve noticed her in the box for a long time...just hanging out in the box. Then, while eating lunch, we noticed she had come out of the box and Joshua ran out and sure 'nough! The prettiest pale blue-green egg you ever saw.

Evenin' folks. Corin was here today...
Just back from the reunion. Glad to hear Sam and Ruthy are okay. I just checked again, ksen has MY number, I don't have his...something's wrong with that...
Lessee...
Nana is in the rehab facility. Therapist has been getting her up, so that's progress. Two indepdendent sources today (one a woman at church who has had a hip replacement, and two wife's cousin who is like a medical research engineer/scientist type) said that this happened because the replacement hip was the wrong size...which means that it will continue to happen until we get the right size. We'll have to ask Mr. Doctor about that.
Luke is spending the week in NC with wife's older sister.
We're trying to race and get stuff done around the house to be ready for the school year...we'll never be ready...
Tomorrow the pool closes for the season...woo hoo!
And...Corin did NOT do South Beach this weekend...
Gotta go. See y'all tomorrow.

Here is the picture of the egg...you can't really tell it's bluish in color but it is. I'll try to get a "comparison" shot tomorrow.

That's the valley were Nana and Papa grew up. It's just across the street from Papa's home place.
And there's 39 acres for sale. We'd love to, but just don't have the bucks. Wife's sister asked if we'd like to buy it with them.
I said, "Sure, if y'all can make the payments for the first 20 years..."

After Isabel, Dominion Power got a LOT of criticism over not spending the bucks they had to bury wires. They raised rates and opted to not do the work.

The good thing about Oklahoma is there is pretty land...and it's really pretty reasonable (though out of our reach now...heck, a new microwave is out of our reach NOW.)
