I want my 250 posts back!

So lots of changes to FR lately . . . and change is good.

Except for one change.

When I go to a thread - any thread - I can only see 50 posts at a time. That's not enough. I want as many answers per page as I can get - 250, the way it used to be!

I've gone to More, then to My Preferences, and set Views to 250. Several times.

I never really paid any attention to how many postings I've had. I've been on here pretty much daily since 98/99. First as a lurker of course. Lost my first ID in the big format change and have been running under this monkiker ever since.

Fairly certain it should be more than just a paltry 7,000 posts. I guess I never realized that I have never, ever, initiated a thread though.

This doesn't make me passive/agressive does it?

I was somewhat annoyed when the settings changed my number of replies per thread from 100 to 50.
I was gonna gripe about it, but just figured "oh heck, what's the use?"

Since you started this...I want to know why when I hit Browse at the top and bottom of each thread, I go to All Messages instead of News/Activism.....a little thing, but it drives me crazy...

Yeah, you say that now... but when John Robinson comes back saying that the only way to get it will be to outsource part of FR to India, then you'll change your tune.

If I'm thinking of the right place, just click on "FULL" in the upper right corner. It seems to change the default for you.

until I figured out you can get 'em back by clicking on "full" instead of "brief" in the upper righthand corner of the "my comments" listing.
