They're clever little devils but as long as the poles have a good thick coating I'd be surprised if they're able to overcome it.

Thanks. I find that I will be camping during the dem convention. Good. LOL Surely there will be something culturally uplifting on one of the myriad other cable channels, like a 'Gilligan's Island' marathon.

Is this a new thread?
I mean I know I've been away for a while, but this seems like you've started a new thread.

Marking spot. Hi Pippin. I've been missing also. I can't pry myself off the Peterson case. It's sort of like masochism. In fact it reminds of the Simpson trial. UGH!!

These birds I encountered in the mountains around Mammoth Lakes were apparently unafraid of people or dogs either. Very curious birds, it seemed.

Don't even talk to me about phone company incompetence! I finally called this morning and raised enough h*ll with a supervisor that they credited my account for a full month of services. Well, duh! Seems only right since I have had OVER a month with none of these services! I still don't have my dsl modem, which I was promised last week and then on Saturday because they were going to overnight it. I still don't have voice mail and I still don't have long distance service. I expect now that it will get taken care of since it is starting to cost them money.

Bailing and hauling hay is less work.
...
Amen!...but only because you don't stop and re-live all the memories with each bale of hay.
We will be upgrading to an assisted living facility by August 1, so the adventure known as life, continues for my father (and the rest of us.)
