Howie would be fun to ridicule again.

CNN said earlier that when Kerry makes his choice(....and lets get one thing straight...its not his choice, he is being told who to pick) that the his number 2loser will not even be near him.

After they realize that Kerry can't win at the Boston Bean Party. They will draft.......Hillary. He will be made to step down only to be selected as the running mate. Or, maybe even Clark.

My guesses are in order.

1. Max Cleland - Play the "patriotism' card, Southern.
2. Dick Gephardt - Shore up unions, Missouri in play.
3. John Edwards - the Media's favorite, revive a dead career.

I already suggested Kucinich, and that he'd get Kerry to appoint Grandfather Twilight the first Peace Secretary.

Landrieu is an inventive pick, I'll grant you that. Possibly wins Louisiana, which Kerry needs in close election. Does shore up the "female vote".

However, this makes for an all-Catholic ticket, albiet cafeteria. Puts abortion on the front burner in an indelicate way. Also, Landrieu owes her seat to fraud and deceit. She isn't that popular in LA.

Don't know whether you're series or not, but I don't see Kerry picking a woman VP. Don't think we're ready for one yet. Especially not Hitlery, or Ms. Landrieu!

She'll carry Louisiana, and possibly Arkansas.

That's a maybe, anyway if he was looking for the "southern" vote, Edwards would be his pick over her anyday. He's young, good looking, speaks well, a trial lawyer to boot.

Mary Landrieu a heartbeat from the oval office? Only if Bubba's in there and you're talking about a throbbing organ other than the heart....

If we started sending postcards to Saddam, would they be delivered? That could be a really fun FReeper project.

Kerry would do better by selecting our governor, Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, as running mate. "Babineaux" would carry the state of Louisiana for Kerry too. Or, if Kerry could find someone, anyone, named Boudreaux from Louisiana he'd carry the state. Sadly, that's the shallow voting patterns of Cajun country.
