Kerry would do better by selecting our governor, Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, as running mate. "Babineaux" would carry the state of Louisiana for Kerry too. Or, if Kerry could find someone, anyone, named Boudreaux from Louisiana he'd carry the state. Sadly, that's the shallow voting patterns of Cajun country.
Interesting. I sat on a plane about a month ago with a Babineaux big deal, a woman, who told me Landrieu was on the long list of Kerry. Landrieu is enormously attractive to dems. She has a pedigree in La politics, brother is Lt Gov, father was mayor or NO if I remember right. She is blonde, soft spoken, a lady and a good campaigner. I think she is popular here even tho her election was probably due to fraud in New Orleans. She would help Kerry. And Hillary would be pea green. BTW she just built a big ole house in Georgetown with non union labor!!! I think she has national aspirations. And her people hang around with Clinton's people according to this staffer who was in a position to know. BTW on airplanes, I fly alot and go first usually, you meet people who tell you the most amazing things if you have a drink or two with them,,they tell you anything.
