Since Tuesday will be chaos (back to work after a three-day weekend), it is best to start the kitty thread this week now (Monday evening). I think these are all new pictures and we have at least two cats in each picture. Partners in their daily job, which is mostly funny business.
Tag, youre it !!!
Looks like the 100 meter Olympic trials --- and no steroids !!!
Takedown !!! Two points for the black kitty.
Wake-Up call !
No doubt about it. Mine would never let me hear the end of it, that's for sure.
So, is this kitty named socks?...
Hmmm. Some humans look better pretending to be cats than cats do pretending to be human.
Do cats do anything else but sleep?
All the kitty pictures posted are very cute.
I'm a little sad today because last night we gave away 2 of a litter of 5 kittens. There are 3 left now and the mama, who was a stray. As much work as they caused (they were kept in the bathroom) I miss them. I have enjoyed watching them learn to walk, play, discover people and everything around them. *sniff*
(I'm trying to convince myself that someone else WILL love them as much as I do...)
They eat. Or beg to be fed.
Sometimes they go pyscho and chase imaginary somethings around the house (usually at 2 am).
You did a good thing finding them a home.
Really.
Besides, this goes along with the cat plan to infiltrate the whole world - one household at a time. :)
LOL! Thank you for the laugh!
That's for sure. They must have some kind of built in alarm, "It's 2am, time to bounce around the house"
Thank you.
What little I can make out of the grey cat, reminds me of my Tinker Bell. She use to do that.
Oh, I'm sure they will love them as much as you do. You could always check up on them and see if they are getting the proper care, couldn't you?
Sam and Murphy use to have a route, I swear I thought they would wear the carpet out!!!! They would usually start by the living room door, circle the living, hit the couch and go over into the dining room area, kitchen (where they skated across the floor) then into my bedroom over the bed and around the room, under the bed, back to the kitchen through the dining room and living room into momma's room and through the door from her room into her bathroom and then out the other door and repeat at least three or four times before stopping and if you tried to stop them they would look at you like you were crazy!!!!!
With as many as we have, I'm usually looking for some place they're not! LOL! Inside and outside, they're flaked out all times of day and night.
I could fill up an entire thread with "road kill" pics of these guys and gals! ROTFL!!
That would be Kele, our oldest cat (16 yrs.) She likes to sleep on the space heater in the kitchen.....not a lot of room on top so she curls up in a wad. I don't know how she breathes. LOL!
And the black fellow, boy he looks too loose to be a cat.
That's our "Itty-Bitty" baby. I don't know what the deal is with her hanging her legs over the edge of anything she lies on. This is an on-going thing. Looks right silly, huh? hehehehe!
And do all striped cats have big butts and is that one about to fall off?
They don't have to be tabbies to have big butts in this household! ROTFL!! Chelsea's is pretty big, too. (I didn't pay attention at the time I took this pic, but I love all the glowing eyes in the background! *G*)
Poor Morticia probably wouldn't have fallen off the table......but the flash startled her when I took that pic and she did take a tumble. Shame on me!
Lastly, what's the story with the three and the box. It appears something led up to that.
Hubby had ordered some car parts and they arrived in that box. As soon as he'd emptied it and set it on the floor, Kele claimed it. A few minutes later, Jool decided to get on top. Fred was scratching at the side, trying to get Kele to move out but it didn't work. He eventually fell asleep, too, and I snapped the pic.
Right now, every cat in the house is asleep and that worries me. When they do that, they ALL wake up at once and and it's like being in the middle of a pinball machine in here! LOL!
Sure they do!
The eat......
.....to get the energy to run us ragged. LOL!
Guess we're the biggest suckers in the world, or close to it. *G*
Did she snore, too? Kele does when she wads up that way. Good thing, I guess.....it's the only way I can tell she's breathing. LOL!
Feet forward hanging off, though, I've never seen more than a couple of times.
I LOVE the glowing eyes in he background!!!!
The box. Does any cat-lover get a product in a box and not have to leave it on the floor for cats to investigate? If I had a male, my box photos would look like that but, with all females, the box would look empty except for glowing eyes and sharpened, attack-ready ready claws.
Thanks for the story; it was fun. Your guys are great.
