Thank you all for coming! And for everyone watching and participating from home via that camera, we hope you can enjoy the day ~almost~ as much as being there!
Nighty night, g'nad.
I test-clicked it in the FR preview window first, which is what I usually do on account of times I've posted stuff that turned out to be red "x"s :)
I hear all his "resolutions" are quick...
Oh, you weren't replyin' to this one?
And please pass along our thanks to your father and to Dona. Your father was very sweet, and the food was delish!
Tell Gidget I say "Hi!" back.
no comment!
*snicker*
You're on a roll, Corin. But you know you're gonna pay for that one when he gets back.
I live with my mother-in-law, a 15-year-old and a preschooler. g'nad don't skeer me...
Pictures get cached all the time, I wonder if sounds do the same thing?
Probably because it was already in your cache. I don't really understand people getting their panties in such a bunch over having files from their site linked. I see it as part of having a website - it's the wonder of the internet. Now if someone posted images or such from my server on their own website, that could be a different story, and I would ask them to just tranfer the images to their own server for posting. But I have no problem with my stuff being posted on message boards like this. Oh well.
He won't respond right away - just to make a point.
It's kinda like Jewish folk music. I think it is Eastern European; Polish, maybe?
Ya know....I shoulda gotten the salmon and crab at the Oyster House....
Likely won't see him fer days...
Learning to be good at making golf courses doesn't make you good at golf. This is the time to decide which one you want to be.
There are programmers that are good at making systems, but lousy at understanding the needs of users. There are systems analysts that are good at understanding the needs of users, but lousy at understanding the limitations of the programmers.
Point taken.
And I can relate.
I know you can darlin'. I started to whine earlier about bein' here with Luke and Nana (and Jr. soon) by myself for several more days. Then I thought of you.
It was kinda neat Sunday at church. On Mother's Day and Father's Day the pastor has the respective parents stand for a special prayer time. Sunday he asked the single moms to stand because they play a lot of the father role.
I could tell it meant a lot to some of the women.
I wonder if my leftover sirloin steak has been eaten yet....
The Oysters Rockerfeller were excellent though. They could have had a bit more cheese and garlic on them, but it's just my opinion.
*sigh* Wish I could go back...
Ah, I don't have to decide quite yet... got a year or so of grace. I'm not sure if I'm communicating this right... you don't go to grad school to learn to code. But if you're in CS, you'd better be able to, or convince someone else to do it for you. It's like if I want to be a writer, I don't study grammar or spelling, I should know that already. What I need to learn is how to translate ideas into something more concrete.
It's going to be either AI or systems, and I'll know in a year. Maybe in six months. But I have to be slightly proficient in two areas, anyway, so I'll learn both and then pick one.
