First his housekeeper bolts and now his wife...
If he needs anything from Al Simmons at this time it would be some heavy duty house cleaning.

I'm sure Rush's list of women he would EVENTUALLY like to associate with right now, is much longer than yours for him.
If you have any appreciation for his self-directed way of doing things, let HIM do it, at his own pace.
If he really loves Marta, I'm sure he's still trying to work things out. Marriage is all about compromise, not just running off to the next person when disputes arise.

Green eyes You're not a classy green-eyed blonde, are you? :-)
To: Al Simmons
Al, we know your heart is in the right place. But remember there are some things you should not mess with. Otherwise you might be mistaken for one of those crazed, over-caffeinated do-gooders over at DU.
To: jellybean
manly man with a $25 milion mansion, private jet etc., or any manly man?
To: Al Simmons
Rush needs some time away from a relationship to figure out what he did wrong in this last one. Not good to rebound....

Shouldn't you wait for the ink to dry on his divorce papers before you try to find him a new wife?
It's so tacky to date while married.

I think Rush needs to concentrate on his recovery before anything else. This may be a bad idea.

Hmmm...do you think that 64 oz Pepsi I polished off just prior to getting on-line this morning might have ahd something to do with it?
Thanks for not throwing (verbal) brickbats in my direction.
Still, what harm is there in letting these folks know we care for them?

Developing friendships is not. And I know that Rush would not be interested in anything more than that right know.

There was speculation that CGEB was male. I'm all female. :)

Old boy, you may mean well, but take it from someone who went through a relatively painful divorce - it's really not done to be trying to push, prod or meddle. If Rush needs help, he's surely grown up and self reliant enough to get it from those close to him.

manly man with a $25 milion mansion, private jet etc., or any manly man? It's not the size of the wallet that matters, it's the size of ...
...the heart!

With Rush's money, he'd be better off finding some really hot chick with a decent personality, and paying for it.
Perhaps he should move to Nevada, where it's legal to pay for it directly (you *always* pay for it.... some ways are just more straightforward than others)
