To: Ben Chad
"Galt got the ZOT."
He did? How did we miss that? I wanted to see him get what he so richly deserved.

Understood.
DeltaSierra out.
NICE!!!
I never could figure out what the root of his problems with President Bush and other Republicans were. It always seemed that the more information there came up to counter his positions, the more critical and dug in he became. I can't recall a single time in all the years he's posted that he expressed any doubt that there might be more to the story, and that some additional information might change his mind.
I don't recall any of the specific ad hominems directed to me, but he did direct some of his very common claims, that people who disagreed with his position meant they weren't "conservative", toward me. I guess I never really took that as an insult, but observed that he really has no idea what conservative means, and I made that comment to him at least five times. I can't say that he ever responded to that observation at all, though.
For the most part, I merely tried to defuse some of his truly egregious statements that he apparently meant to discourage newbies.
.
It's unfortunate it isn't permanent.
Time and again I've seen him hijack WMD threads, all in an effort so lurkers and newbies give up and leave, all without learning a thing, which of course, is Galt's intent.
'tis permanent.
Galtedone is banned.
I read it the same way you just did a few minutes ago myself.
Ahhh! A ban not suspension. Thank you!
I was told by a few people that he posted under multiple screen names, something he always denied. Nonetheless, be on the lookout.
Oh I'm waiting for one of his other voices to get stupid and say something snotty to me.
Like one of his possible other voices that was shilling for Wesley Clark awhile back.
*chuckle*
Welcome.
I had to reread the Admin post a few times myself.
Honestly, after the Galtedone's posts of his insults being 'hyperbole, charm, and wit' I'd been wondering when he'd get the hammer.
Here is Galt's post over at Liberty Post (under the Biker Bar section):
He says in another thread he won't come back here unless he's invited.
I discovered FR in the Summer of '97, attended the first meeting in Boston in the Spring of 1998, survived long enough to post an anti-war Right voice through-out the present crisis, and yet look what stories were too hot to handle: the torture/homoerotica scandal, which gave my good friend U-89 the boot, and the hysterics over an artillery shell that went off in the desert, injuring two US soldiers.
Indeed, of late, I was offering JR a way out, a means to ditch the parasites that had so corrupted the site and will leave him in a heartbeat should Bush lose in Novemeber. I was offering up Chalabi and the men who allowed the felon to subvert our institutions. I figured it was a moderate tone/resolution to take, but it proved to much to the newbies who prefer their world simple, good vs evil, R vs D.
Oh well, I know I don't have too many back in forths with y'all but I consider y'all my friends, in the Celtic pub sort of way where we might get into a fist fight later, after a few too many.

HAHAHAHA..
but how long until the phoenix resurrects as another screen name?
Well, if he/she returns, hope he takes his meds, minimizes the firewater & puts on his "NICE HAT".
Keep us posted !
*snort*
He just cannot let go of tehChalabi thing, can he?
"Let go of the chalupa!"
Oh, THIS is good stuff: "survived long enough to post an anti-war Right voice through-out the present crisis, and yet look what stories were too hot to handle: the torture/homoerotica scandal, which gave my good friend U-89 the boot, and the hysterics over an artillery shell that went off in the desert, injuring two US soldiers."
Anti-war 'right' voice?
He's definately got a few screws loose, or missing.
I was in artillery when I was in uniform.
Even though the artillery shell is a bottom dispensing round, an IED made from it will still cause trouble.
I guess the Galtedone just doesn't get it.
The chem round will only dispense vapor or droplets while in flight from holes/nozzles/perforations in it's base when the fuse detonates.
Yet as an IED, it'll still mix the chem inside the round and dispense enough chem to kill a few people.
So, because 'only two soldiers' were 'hurt' it doesn't count in his eyes.
Good stuff, I can almost feel my mind shattering from his writings.
*chuckle*
And since the chem round wasn't marked, we can be sure that there are more out there.
Cripes, he's an idiot.
Excellent news.
I will be laughing heartily, and may he read this in lurkerdom and seethe over it.
Wow! He's truly a legend in his own mind.
Cannot say that I am sorry to see him get zotted -- if wasn't working for the Clinton RATs, I would be surprised since some of his comments were right out of the RAT Talking Point papers.
So, he's trotted off to LP huh? Typical move. Galt was indeed a disruptor, likely DNC funded. He's one of others who roam the halls of FR. They tag team frequently and show up predictably close to each other on threads.
I added a name to my personal list of DNC plants just this weekend. Sometimes I just make it a point to post a statement on various threads about the existence of theswe sorts, for the sake of newcomers and youngsters. I figure that at least alerts lurkers about needing to read and consider carefully.
We shall see if JG shows up in another form.
Prairie
Some caution and negativity are always worthwhile, but for JGault it seemed to be a constant thing. He is a true '30s isolationist, the way I saw it, and I never could comprehend what scared him so much about the US' use of force. I really don't recall when he was NOT the playground bully. I suspect that wherever he ends up, he'll find a whole load of kindred spirits.
hehe! There's your answer!:
This was a ban, not suspension.59 posted on 05/19/2004 1:35:18 PM CDT by Admin Moderator
Don't look at me: I didn't kill him >^-^<
Yeah.
It's almost surreal.
I'm waiting for the sky to burn next.
The Galtedone and myself went a few rounds here and there awhile back.
And he'd toss the most ridiculous insults and assertions out there.
His favorite seemed to be to seemingly quote someone, and then when challenged to produce a link to the supposed quote, he'd get insulting.
I figured he'd be banned LONG before now.
Guess he went up against those of us who were pretty thick skinned, those not likely to be fast on the abuse button.
(He was pretty free with it though.)
This is good news.
No Hillary is still alive.
