Re: flying on Southwest with firearms. I flew on SW to visit my mom last week. For some unknown reason, TSA decided to inspect my luggage. It didn't make it to Boise with me, and had to be delivered the next morning. I'm sure that the agents really enjoyed paying through a middle-aged woman's socks and underwear. At least it was on the outbound trip, and was still clean.

Hi, Mo and all.

This is a drive by with a warning...if any of you are using Earthlink do not use the update for the 2005 Total Access program yet..it has major bugs..like an idiot I downloaded it and have had nothing but trouble with my email service since. And it has affected my antivirus program..it works but some features I am unable to get at the moment. So tomorrow I have to head out for a CD for the 2004 program which I was running with no troubles and then call the techies and get it reinstalled again..MAJOR GROAN.....

Some of the problems I have had are several different error messages detailing that the program is not responding, slow and at times non responsive ( like can't get it to shut down) or I'll have 2 of every kind of mail box ( in, out, sent etc) and notices about the mail client..it is a total headache. I have used earthlink since 2000 and have had good results but this time they put out a program before getting all the bugs worked out. Today the techie I spoke to did say they are deluged with calls about this mess.

See you when I get it sorted out. In the meantime...Gran I am right behind you with the house projects...paint....things are looking good!

The other day, someone at the co-op read that a methamphetamine lab had been found in an old farm house in the adjoining county and he asked me a question, "Why didn't we have a drug problem when you and I were growing up, Milo?"

I smiled when I answered him saying, "I DID have a drug problem when I was a kid growing up on the farm in southeast Kansas. I was drug to church on Sunday mornings and for weddings and funerals. I was drug to family reunions and community socials no matter the weather.

I was drug by my ears when I was disrespectful to adults and teachers. I was also drug to the 'woodshed' when I disobeyed my parents or if I had a 'smart-mouth.'

I was drug to my room to work on improving my homework and my attitude if I didn't put forth my best effort in everything that was asked of me.

I was drug outside on Saturday mornings to pull weeds in our garden and flower beds."

Those "drugs" are still in my veins; and they affect my behavior in everything I do, say, and think. They are stronger than cocaine, crack, or heroin, and if today's children had this kind of drug problem, America might be a better place today.

That's just gross! Okay, so my whole family thought I was weird because I hate raw tomoatoes....one of the few foods I simply will not eat. I've tried...I really have. They're just nasty to me, and I hate the texture

... I change my mind from picture to picture. LOL. I see features and expressions in both girls that remind me of the Prez and Laura.

I've been having that problem too .. Some pictures I see of Jenna and she looks like her mother .. other pictures she looks like her dad
